Hi everyone. My name is Amanda and I'm 18 years old. At the moment I'm in college taking the major of marketing and sales. I had different losses in my life. Some big some minor. The two biggest ones though that I would like to share are the death of both of my parents. My mom died when I was in the 8th grade and my dad when I was in 9th grade. They both died of cancer. Anyways, because of their death I don't think I would be the person I am today and I am grateful for that. I may not have had much time with them but I do cherish the time that I did. If anyone would a more detailed version just message me and let me know. Bye for now!

well my name is kenji and i love anime. my dad died when i was 3 and my mom died when i was 14... so i really had no one to be with it was very hard for me to go into school and try to learn. people ask me dont i have reletives i really dont no them. so here i am living a life and i did all alone no one was there to help me it was like survival to me on the streets waiting to get a job to earn sommthing for i can get a hotel to sleep in or inn.. im 18 now and going to tokyo japan.as i speak. im going there to live there b/cits has all the anime there.lol im very nervise . first time on a plane what if it crash  well theres only one way to find out to tokyo.

im sorry to hear that you both lost your parents. that has to be very hard for you both. if you ever need to talk, im here. like i said i lost my 17year old son 5months ago. so it would be nice to talk to some people closer to his age.

Sorry to hear about everyones tradgedies. It's gotta be the worst thing to lose someone you love so much! I've never had to go through that. I've lived in a hospital and seen others go through that and worse, and it always breaks my heart to hear about people losing loved ones so I really feel for you guys! Me, my name is Michael, I am 28 and live in cali with my wife and our  9 year old son. I love them both very much. Right now I mostly stay home and take care of him and work on my art. I used to be in a punk band and we had a couple cd's so that was very cool, I still play sometimes and sing all the time but not to anyone in particular. I've been disabled since i was 12 with a rheumatory condition that has been a very challenging thing for me, but right now I feel the best I have in years! I mostly sit here on the computer and draw. I can't wait to get invited to the virtual world!!!! It's been great meeting you all!!

Hi everyone. My name is Eva... it's not my real name, but it is a very favored nick name of mine. I am from nyc, but currently living in mn. The question I'm most asked is "why would you move to mn..?" I know, its such a drastic change from the city that is so lively. Well during the time of 9/11, I was young around that time.... well younger and I was living with my mother. She became very paranoid that something would happen again and so we moved to the state we knew the least about and was not very popular (I'd say). So that put her mind at ease from the time being. Now that I'm 18, I'm still in mn, I guess because I've gotten used to it, but in the very near future I do plan to move back to nyc- I just can't stay away from it. Anyway (sorry for the babbling ^_^) I like anime, manga, horror flicks, and all kinds of music. I draw and write a lot. I am very sorry to hear about some of the tragedies that some of you have faced or are still going through. I send my condolences and hope for the best! Nice to meet u all! :)

Thanks peewee for your loving and devoted support. I don't have any children of my own but one day I'm planning on having some. I'm sorry to hear about your son. It's hard to understand why things turn out the way they do but at least we can cherish what little time we had spent with the ones we lost. I'm very much grateful for all the love and support that I have seen on this site. I honestly didn't think I would find much on any site. Hi, I'm Sumiko from Japan and I've had 1 major tragedy in my life, and I prefer to talk about the good more than the bad. I do listen well, though. Sorry about everyone's losses, especially peewee. I give you the greatest sympathy. What happened to me was that my 96 year old great grandma died, and even though she was old I was really close to her. She was like a base for my family and me and I will still keep loving her.
