Well I have seen a lot of New York.. I was born and raised here!!! and I love it!!  all the way from the city to upstae!!  any other Yew Yoker's out there?  ??

I grew up just outside of  New York and I love it, but I have to admit that I haven't done much of the touristy stuff. However, I do think NYC is fantastic!

I have dreamed of NYC since I was a little girl! I always wanted to take my visual art to NYC (painting, sculpture) and break into the art world there.. Also, I wanted to be on the stage. I am the double threat, trying to be triple! (I sing, I act, but my dancing isn't up to snuff for NY critics). I know a great deal about NYC.. but I would ALWAYS be open to learning more. My husband and I may never be able to live there (we are both disabled).. yet someday, I want to at least see the city of my dreams. I want to go where the locals go.. sit in the bagel shops, the coffee houses, the tiny little out-of-the-way bookstores.. But, alas, the world is cold and hard- some dreams never get realized.
