After amassing our vast arsernals and personal cache of weapons, myself and a few other gun fanatic friends ventured out into the wilderness to put large caliber holes into small inanimate objects..(only because there were no animate ones arounds at the time) We set up targets, stapled stuff to trees, and generally just shot the hell out of anything and everything around us. for those of you that have never been fishing via .30 carbine or 357 magnum, you are missing out. both very potent rounds are great for shooting garr and bass even  12 or so inches below the waters surface.
we had a terriffic diversity of guns between everyone that showed up..
9mm, 10mm, .38, 357 magnum, .22 mag, .30 carbine, .45 acp, .40 cal,
and a very nice .308 assault rifle with 30 round clips. needless to say, we put holes of just about every size possible into stuff out there. it was HOT today people.. really damn HOT. thankfully, we brought a cooler packed with mountain dew, pepsi, and dr pepper. (we never bring alcohol anywhere we are bringing firearms) it was a full family event, and even my neighbors kids (11 and 12) got to shoot pretty much all of the guns. the kids alone went through almost two box's of .22's at 550 rounds per box, and there were at least a few hundred rounds of 9mm alone shot. Next in line would probably have been either .38 or .357 since we had several revolvers that used them being fired. going out shooting is always better in groups, and even if you dont have any firearms of your own, i would encourage you to come out with us sometime. its a good chance to try out a lot of different guns, and a lot of different calibers. we always have both semi-auto's as well as revolvers. its doesnt take much arm twisting to get me to go shooting on a saturday or sunday.
