Eternal Life Forever in Paradise

Hi Guys,

It has been brought to my attention that a good friend online has excepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior just yesterday as he finished reciting the salvation prayer. His eternal life begins as of that moment while he still lives on earth and will continue on to his after life as any of us can to accept the free, unearned gift of eternal life with the God the Father. Though he suffers with health ailments on earth, our prayers are with him but his blessings will be upon him forever and the entire heavens of countless angels rejoice, even for one person no matter who or what you have done.

Tolerance and Tearing Down The Walls

Hi Kanevan Community and Fellow Believers,

This has been on my mind for a while and I just like to say that we welcome friendship to anyone who would like to hang with us and to experience the love of God and in spite of hard times, He wants to bless you in ways you can't imagine. It is our hope that wherever we go on Kaneva or anywhere else for that matter, that we reflect our Lord Jesus Christ even though we are only human and are as imperfect as anyone else.

We as Christians, should always remember to except ppl as the Hymn and scriptures say, "Just As I Am". I don't remember it being, "get ur act together first, then u can deal with us on our level". Remember the thief on the cross, dying with Jesus, did not have time to get his act together, yet when he believed and repented that he has done wrong and deserved to die and asked Jesus to remember him, Jesus replied that b4 this day is done, u will be with me in paradise.

It's about "Tearing The Walls Down", not building them higher so it makes it harder for everyone to deal with us or understand us for that matter. When u see ppl that don't necessarily act or talk like u do and they are not simply "ur cup of tea/coffee", remember what Jesus would have done who we are suppose to emulate. Jesus reached out to the world and seldom criticised ppl unless it was the hypocritical Pharisses and teachers of the Law who cared more about their rules and acting pious to the public than they really did for ppl. Ask urself this question if u r a comtemporary Pharisee or unknowingly coming across as one.

Be a friend first. This is not to suggest we should compromise our own behavior for we are to be in the world but not of the world. The way u carry on reflects not only urself but it reflects on all of us too. Let's not wait for circumstances or chats to suit us perfectly b4 we love them. Even small gestures of doing things can go a long way.
