About Me

it is no serect my unit is set to deploy to iraq come may of this year. they say the hardest job in the army is not being the solider but being the spouce of the solider. dealing with the long hour of work little family time the stress of deloyments and field opts. lack of family time and the hardships of not understand the stress and the mind set and the changes we go through when we deploy. not knowing if the mission everytime we roll outside of the fob if we're going to make it back to our bed or if its going to be the last time we roll out. long nights and lack of sleep, the stress of not knowing what is goin on back home state side not know if the other half being faithful or am i goin get a letter or email saying that i am leaving you or haveing some guy or gal answer the phone when u call home to talk to ur wife or husband. some of that i just said above i went through when i was over there: the lack of sleep the letter the callin home and a guy answering the phone, being shot at well outside the fob, the mortor attacks on the fob, not knowing if anytime i rolled out if it was goin to be my time to die all of that i have gone through, the 911 i.m. at 2 am iraqi time saying that tristan had drowned nd was boarderline of living.to late to fix things.i cant change what happen to tristan as much i wish i could but i cant and i have to live with that. he has a lil hearing lose and maybe some more damnage from what happen to him and i cant change that but yet it feels like it is all my falut. i have failed as a father, a husband,

as i taxi to the runway i hear the rumble of the engine as i am gettin ready to take off and slip the bonds of gravity and in just a few min i will be free from what hold me down my spirit able to fly freely just like the birds nothin but me and the blue sky as i fly around over the mountion and lake but i know sooner or later i will have to land and once again i will be trapped onces again on theground until the next time i take flight and slip the bonds of gravity again
