HOW TANG SOO DO CHANGED MY LIFE
Tang soo do changed my life by teaching me how to defend myself against criminals and bad guys. Tang soo do also taught me about life and how to live life to the fullest. I am taught many valuable lessons when I am training. I use and remember these lessons in real life. I will learn even more lessons in the years to come. One lesson I was taught was to be strong and have a strong mind and body. Before I was training in tang soo do I wasn’t as strong as I am now. Now I can run better, faster, and longer thanks to tang soo does .Before I could barley run a mile. But now I feel like I can run a mile and not quit. I can also jump, kick, and punch better too. Tang soo do changed my outlook on life too. Now when I see bad things happen I try to I look on the positive side of things. Like the time when I got really sick with pneumonia. I knew I would get better. I wouldn’t let a little sickness get to me, and after two weeks I got better like I knew I would. Tang soo do also taught me lots of cool moves to use in fighting. Some of my favorite moves are the 360 back kick and jumping front kick. I like those kinds of moves. Also while I am training I get to use these moves in class during free fighting. I like free fighting because it gives me a chance to work on my fighting and gives me a feel of a real fight. Plus free fighting is fun too. I get to take what I learn in class and apply it into free fighting. I am much tougher now thanks to tang soo do .If I get punched or hit I won’t cry as easily as I used too. I remember a time when I slammed the tip of my finger in the car door. I didn’t cry then. I am so proud of myself on becoming tougher and stronger. A other way I can tell that I’m getting stronger is that my knuckles are getting harder ,each time I do knuckle pushups . I hope I’ll get much stronger in the years to come. I also want to be stronger so that I can break more boards. I’m happy that I’m taking tang soo do because I’m learning about an old style of Korean karate. It gives me an opportunity to learn about some of Korean culture. I like to learn about different kinds of culture and customs of different countries. I also learned how to count to ten in Korean, and some of the Korean language. I have a lot of fun when I’m training. I have to thank master Giacobbe, master Cheeseman, and all of the other masters and black belts. That make training fun, and who help me on my forms and one step. So once again I would like to thank you all for this great karate experience.
