Kaneva is looking for an experienced C++ Application Engineer to join our talented development team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ experience in commercial product development using C++ and Microsoft Visual Studio
• 5+ years extensive experience in GUI development using C++/MFC
• Must have programmed in DirectX API or equivalent
• Must be able to quickly analyze and assimilate large application code bases and be able to start working on them rapidly
• Knowledge of low level Windows System/GDI calls is expected
• Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired:
  • Flash/C++ Video player development and interfacing
  • Interfacing Flash games to a C++ framework
  • Video games development
  • Interfacing with Streaming back-ends like Flash Communication server, custom Streaming servers
• Scripting exposure with Python, LUA is a plus
• Experience in C#/.NET development is a plus
• Knowledge of Java is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Previous start-up experience is a plus
• B.S in computer science or equivalent discipline is desired
