Kaneva is the online “canvas” where anyone can showcase and share their passions, interests and talents with the world.

Currently in private beta opening up to select invitees starting this fall, the Virtual World of Kaneva is a vast 3-D virtual world where thousands of people will be able to simultaneously explore, socialize and be entertained like never before. The Virtual World features a persistent and expanding world, which allows players to develop their own characters, attributes and possessions over the course of play. Connected Media is all about harnessing the power of the Internet to connect media, people and their passions.
Create a Profile all about you or a topically-rich Community and use Kaneva’s Connected Media Module to not only publish media on your Profile and Community but to place any of your media, anywhere on the net.
Kaneva’s built-in social networking platform will enable massive viral sharing, extensive friend-to-friend distribution and sophisticated tracking, so that you will be able to know how, when and where your Community and media is being shared.
Connected Media also enables you to be entertained and interact with people and media in totally new ways. Experience a wide variety of media online, in thousands of Communities and then go way beyond passive viewing to share, comment, rave, search, tag and join.
7. How do I upload my media?
It’s simple. As registered member of Kaneva, you’ll have access to your very own Profile where you can upload video, photos, musicand even Flash games. All you need to do is click a Browse button to locate the media file on your computer’s desktop or hard drive, then provide a title and tags to associate with your media file, then click upload. It’s so easy, in fact, we allow you to upload as many as five media files at once.
8. Can I upload as much media as I want?
Yes, you can upload as much media as you likeas long as the media you feature on Kaneva meets our Terms and Conditions. We do ask that you limit videos to less than 100MB and less than 10 minutes in length.
9. What are tags?
Tags are personal keywords which you can use to help label, define or categorize your media (e.g. for a photo of a beach in Hawaii, you might tag it “beach, Hawaii, travel, sunset, vacation, etc.). Kaneva users search tags just like any other keyword to find a channel, video, photo, music, or game.
10. What is a Rave?
A Rave is how Kaneva members say, “Hey, I like this.” Click the Rave button whenever you see something that impresses you. The people, media and channels that generate the most Raves rise to the top of Kaneva’s Movers and Shakers lists. Here’s a tip: Rave yourself or your media to get the ball rollingbut you can only self-rave once!

Kaneva makes it easy for you to make friends with people who share your interests or just catch your eye. Here are a few things you can do:

If you know your current password, then sign in with your email address and password, then use the menus to go to Home > Account > General. Enter your new password, and then enter it again in the Confirm Password field to confirm spelling.
If you forgot your password, click here. You’ll need to confirm your identity, and then enter the email address that you used to sign in. You will then receive an email to help you reset your password.

Kaneva is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of its members. We do not use or disclose information about your individual visits to Kaneva or information that you may give us on Kaneva, such as your name, address, email address or telephone number, to any outside companies without your prior consent. Remember that privacy is a two-way street, and it’s important for you to protect your password and access to your member account.
15. How can I report abuses by members or inappropriate content?
A Report Abuse button is prominently displayed throughout the Kaneva website so that you can alert us to any violations of our terms of use. You also go to our Feedback page to report issues.
