1. What is your policy on copyrighted material?

Kaneva respects the intellectual property rights of others and we require that our members do the same. Members may not upload, post, reproduce, link to, distribute or store material protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary right, or which would violate any right of publicity, right of privacy or other right of any third party, without first obtaining permission of the owner of such right.

To make sure you are abiding by our policy, you should only upload content that you originate or is copyrighted by you.

2. Should I report any copyrighted material I see on Kaneva?

If you are the legitimate copyright owner, we encourage you to follow our procedure for reporting copyright infringements. If the complaint is validated, we will disable access to the material, notify the member who has posted the material, and give the member 10 days to respond with a counterclaim.

3. What happens if my content has been misidentified as copyrighted material?

You will be informed at the email address we have on record if someone has reported your media as copyrighted, and we will suspend access to the material in question. You will have 10 days to file a counterclaim, providing the required information. We encourage you to look at Kaneva’s copyright policy.
