WHO IS THIS MAN

Who Is This Man?

Who is this man that I see?
Someone said he's dying for me.
As I looked into his loving eyes that day,
Almost as if he were standing by me I heard him say.
"Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
As I stood there I asked could this be true.
He looked down upon me, I felt the world stop.
All at once to my knees I dropped!
The tears began to fall I was so ashamed.
All at once I knew why this man came.
He screamed, "Father why has thou forsaken me?
I knew he took my place upon that tree.
The pain was too much I wanted to hide.
Then I heard him say "It is finished" and he died.
At that moment all pain ceased.
I was suddenly filled with God's loving peace.
They took him down off the tree.
I followed knowing he died for me.
They buried him on that cold Friday.
But my friends, in the grave he did not stay.
He rose on the third day to heaven above.
My friends what he did was more than love.
As you go day by day,
stop and think about the price Jesus had to pay.
He gave his life so we could be free.
My friends Jesus died for you and me.
He is alive and well, don't you want to know him.
For my friends, it is by grace you can know him.
He came here not for some, but all.
At this moment let his loving grace fall.
Except him now and forever,
and he promises he will never leave you ever.
This man is Jesus and you can know this savior today!!

Forever Love

Hey people, here is a poem I wrote back when I was a teenager

FOREVER LOVE

Our lives were so simple, our love untouched

everyone knew we loved each other so much.

The day you told me the love was not there,

was the day I knew, I could not bare.

When we said goodbye on that August day,

a tear rolled down my check, and you kissed it away.

My whole body wanted to beg you to stay,

I didn't say a word, I just watched you drive away.

As I watched your car drive out of sight,

The heartache within me, I could no longer fight.

I knew it was over, you just slipped away,

all I could do was take it day by day.

The times that we spent together have come and passed,

But those special memories will forever last.

Our love seemed like a fairy tail come true,

but losing you came suddenly, like I always knew.

Memories we share now burn bright in me,

Our love too wonderful for you to see.

You were my life, love, my best friend,

now all I have is a heart trying to mend.

Now where ever you are, I'll pray to God above,

I'll pray to never forget the memories of our forever love.
