Question: What is the World of Kaneva NewsStand?

The World of Kaneva NewsStand is a source for all common information involving the World of Kaneva for members that are interested in becoming part of the Virtual World.

Question: I want to play. Why can't I play now?

The World of Kaneva is not ready, yet, for people to play in because it is in a Beta Testing stage. All aspects of the software are currently being tested prior to public release. Beta testing is the last stage of testing, and normally can involve getting outside people to join as Beta Testers.

Question: I want to build my 3D persona (avatar) and my 3D place. Why can't I create them yet?

Just like in other games, you cannot create a character or build a similated residence until you have installed the game on a computer. A good example is that you cannot create a World of Warcraft character unless you own the game World of Warcraft and have that game installed on your computer.

Question: I want to download the game. Why can't I find out where to download it?

The only people that can download the software are the Beta Testers. And only the Beta Testers can sign in with the software because they are registered to use the software. So even if someone else had the software they could not use it unless they were a Beta Tester.

Question: What do I need to do to get started?

First you need to be a Member of the Kaneva Community. Being a community member means as soon as the game is released to the public then you can get the game and install it on your computer to play.

Question: Can I become a Beta Tester?

Yes. In order to become a Beta Tester and be allowed to join the Virtual World before it becomes public you must be invited to join the team of Beta Testers.

Question: How do I get an invite to become a Beta Tester?

You need to be an active member of the community. Every member who joins is automatically placed on the World of Kaneva Beta Tester Invite Request Waiting List, but only the active members will be moved to the front of the list. This is because active members will best help the Beta Testing process.

Question: Can I ask someone for an invite?

The Beta Testing process is a private event. There will be set times that Beta Testers will be invited, and each of those times beta testers will only be pulled from the Invite Request List. So if you want an invite you need to be active instead of asking for an invitation.

Question: How can I get to the front of the line faster and get the opportunity to be a Beta Tester?

- Build up your profile so people will want to visit your page

- Make Friends in the Kaneva Community who are already members

- Get your own friends to join the Kaneva Community

- Upload media, such as, but not limited to, music and videos and pictures (including a profile picture)

- Get other Kaneva Members to Rave your profile and your media
