Things I Believe

Things I Believe

I believe that man created religions, God created love...

I believe that life is there to enjoy...grab every minute of it...

I believe what makes us weak, makes us strong....

I believe that it's taken me a long time to become the person I truly am proud to be, but i also believe that God is still working on me.......

I believe that the people we love the most in life are taken from us far too soon....

I believe you should always leave loved ones with loving words, we never know when it may be the last time you may see them....

I believe that crushes are there to crush hearts...

I believe that true love is there from the start...

I believe that friends are needed no matter who you are...

I believe that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change....

I believe that no matter how good a friend is, every now and then they're going to hurt you, but a true friend forgives them even for that, because the pain that they caused can never be greater than the pain of losing a cherished friend....

I believe that friendship is not about what your friend can do to enhance your life, its about what you can do to bring something good to theirs, in the long run thats when you both benefit most.......

I believe that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance, and the same goes for true love....

I believe that true friends never walk away, they stay for the duration....

I believe in giving people chances...

I believe that sometimes the very people you expect to kick you when you're down, turn out to be the exact ones who help you get back on your feet....

I believe that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but ultimately, we alone, are responsible for who we become....

I believe that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for the rest of your life....

I believe that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that anger never gives me the right to be cruel...

I believe that treating people the way I want to be treated will be returned to me ten fold.......

I believe that maturity has less to do with our age than with what we have learned from our own life experiences....

I believe that it isn't always necessary to be forgiven by others, but that it's  more important that we learn to forgive ourselves....

I believe that heroes are the angels who rush in to do what has to be done, when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences to themselves....

I believe that we are the only one responsible for our actions, regardless of the circumstances, and in the end we all have to answer for those actions....

I believe that either you control your attitude or it controls you...

I believe that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other, and just because they don't argues, it doesn't mean that they do love each other....

I believe that faith is trusting in something that we cant see...even when logic says we shouldn't.......

I believe in smiling at strangers, you never know whose life you just might change...

I believe in believing in the underdog...

I believe that we should never judge a person by their cover, we don't know the sorrows they hold deep within..

I believe in taking the time to break down walls, discover the true person inside...

I believe in telling people we love them, but only if we truly do...and reminding them why we do, when we need to...

I believe that you can keep going long after you think you can't go on for one more minute...

I believe you can hear GOD speak, if you are just still and willing to listen....

I believe that good things will come to good people...

I believe that great things will come to people who never give up believing...

I believe that silence will teach you something if you listen hard...

I believe you can hear Angels sing in the early morn if you just listen quietly...

I believe that GOD made us the keeper of the animals and the earth...

I believe is you plant a seed, beneath the sod, and wait to see, You believe in GOD...

I believe that your heart will always lead you in the right direction, follow it...

I believe that GOD will help you if you just believe in HIM and trust HIM...

I believe in wishing on stars...

I believe that true beauty lies in the heart and soul, not what you look like on the outside...

I believe that pets are wonderful because they listen and love you no matter what kind of day you're having...and they are always happy to see you, even if you walked out that door just seconds before...

I believe that love brings great things...

I believe that children have a lot they can teach adults, if we'd just listen...

I believe you should count your friends not when times are good but when times are the toughest, look beside you and see how many friends are standing beside you, and remember that you are Blessed......

I believe you should always show your true colors and not try to be something better than you are for anyone other than yourself....

I believe that senior citizens are just as important as we are, and they have wonderful  stories and good advice to share, but that most of all they just want to be loved, just like you and me, .and they deserve our respect and understanding, patience when we think we have none to give, they are still a valuable commodity, not just our past....

I believe it's ok to cry, when you hurt, when you're in love, when something or someone special touches your heart...as long as the tears are real and come from your heart....

I believe the true measure of any of us is not by the quantity of friends we have but by the qualities of the friends we love...

I believe everyone should have to work retail one entire Christmas season, so they understand and have more patience when standing in line......

I believe that people with disabilities deserve just as much respect and consideration as anyone else.. if you look closely at them you might realize that they just might be the better person.....

I believe you should Always chase your dreams...

I believe in the power of a good belly laugh, it cleanses our soul, never forget to laugh, especially at yourself...

I believe that if we raise boys and men that they are weak if they cry, then in fact, we are depriving them of love... a man who is not afraid to shed a tear when something touches their soul is a man filled with compassion, someone who truly knows the meaning of love.......

I believe that money is a lousy way of keeping score...

I believe that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being....

I believe a birth certificate shows we were born, a death certificate shows we died, pictures show we lived, but the moments when  we touch people's hearts show that we know how God wanted us to live, these are the moments that define who we are....

I believe that when you feel a gentle breeze blow softly across your cheek and feel the warmth of the sun upon your face, that's God, kissing your cheek and sending the warmth of His Love....

I believe that GOD loves you and me...

that He fulfills our dreams, He's just waiting for us to ask and then to believe...

and that He knows what is deep within our hearts, sometimes even before we know it ourselves...

this, I truly do believe......Deb {Sudsbee}

My Feet Are Off the Ground
I just read it and had to share it with all of my friends here on Kaneva, because each of you mean so much to me.....I've been lucky to meet some very special people here, and for each of you I am truly blessed and thankful to know you, and I love each of you in your own special way......

I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did :).......

"My Feet Are Off The Ground"

From Tyler Perry: writer and actor

This morning I awoke and was so frustrated about all of the stuff that I'm dealing with in trying to get this studio open. I was about to open my mouth and start complaining when I remembered something that happened to me about a year ago.

I was walking to my car when this woman who appeared to be homeless started walking towards me. I'm ashamed to say this but I thought, "I don't feel like being hustled today." Then I got quickly convicted. I felt guilty so I started digging in my pocket for some money. As she got closer I noticed that she had the kindest eyes that I had ever seen. As I was reaching into my pocket she started to speak. I thought, "Here goes the sales pitch". She said "Excuse me sir, I need some shoes. Can you help me?" My eyes filled with water because I remember being out on the streets and having only one pair of run over shoes. I was taken aback for a second.

I took her inside the studio and had my wardrobe people find shoes in her size. As she put the shoes on she started crying, praising God and thanking Jesus, and saying, "My feet are off the ground! My feet are off the ground!" Several of the wardrobe people started crying. I was crying. But I never forgot those words. "My feet are off the ground!" I thought, "Wow! All she wanted was some shoes." She quickly disappeared and never asked me for a dime. I realized that I still had the money in my hand so I went out looking for her. She was gone just that quick so I looked all around the neighborhood for her. I found her standing on a corner looking down at her shoes, still crying. I was so touched. I asked her how she had gotten homeless. She told me that she had AIDS and that she was waiting to get into a shelter. She said that her family had turned their backs on her and that she had no place to go, but she knew that God would make a way for her. I said to myself, "He just did." Her faith and her praise moved me. I took her to a nearby hotel and put her up until she was able to get on her feet I had someone that worked for me to check on her from time to time and to make sure that she had food and clothes. After about a month or so we lost touch, but I never forgot her.

This past summer I was shooting "Daddy's Little Girls" and this woman walks up to me smiling. I didn't recognize her face, but her eyes were familiar. She had on a really nice dress and her hair was done. It was her! She told me that the little help that I had given her had changed her life. She was in a house now and doing very well.

I said all of that to say this. After I met this woman, every time I think about complaining and mumbling I remember, "My feet are off the ground!"

~Tyler Perry

~ I wanted to share this with you just to let you know that when I say that I am thankful for you, I mean it. And when I say that you are a blessing to me, I mean it. If I tell you I Love You, I mean that with all of my heart's conviction.  We take so much for granted sometimes that I just wanted all of you to know that I am grateful to God for you everyday. Thank you for being in my life.~ deb (Sudsbee).

HANDS
HANDS
A basketball in my hands is worth about $19
A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 Million

It depends on whose hands it's in....

A baseball in my hands is worth about $10
A baseball in Roger Clemen's hands is worth about $4.75 million

It depends on whose hands it's in...

A tennis racket in my hands is nearly useless
A tennis racket in Andre Agassi's hands is worth millions

It depends on whose hands it's in...

A rod in my hand will keep away an angry dog
A rod in Moses' hands will part the Mighty Sea

It depends on whose hands it's in...

A slingshot in my hands is a kid's toy
A slingshot in David's hand is a mighty weapon

It depends on whose hands it's in...

Two fish and five loaves of bread in my hands
are two fish sandwiches and two smelly hands

Two fish and five loaves in Jesus Christ's hands
will feed thousands

It depends on whose hands it's in

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce Salvation for the entire world

It depends on whose hands it's in

As you see now, it all depends on whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your relationships
in GOD's hands because...

It all depends on whose hands it's in

This message is now in your hands
What will you do with it?

It all depends on whose hands it's in.
