About 24 Hour Film Club

The University of Georgia's 24-Hour Film Club is guerilla filmmaking with a masochistic streak.

Students write, direct, edit and act in their own productions--but their production schedule is limited to one adrenaline-pulsing day.

Members split into random groups on Fridays and receive instructions about a genre, a common line and a common prop. By Saturday evening, they are meeting to review each other's work. Some call it grueling. Others hail it as liberating.
