Invite a Friend to Kaneva

Invite a Friend to Kaneva and
earn Rewards!

We've recently started a program where you
can earn Rewards just by inviting your friends
to Kaneva.

For every 5 friends that you get to join Kaneva
you earn 500 Rewards.

You can earn 1000 Rewards if 5 of your friends
enter the Virtual World.

Read on for more information:

How do I invite a friend to join Kaneva?

1. Sign in to Kaneva.

2. Click My Friends.

3. Click Invite A Friend.

4. Enter your friends’ email addresses
separated by spaces, commas, or
semicolons.
5. If you’d like, type a personal message
to be included in the invitation.

6. Click Send Now.

How do I get rewards?

1. Invite your friends to join Kaneva
using our “Invite a Friend” page (Sign in,
click My Friends, and click Invite A Friend).
2. Make sure your friend clicks on the “Click
here to accept this invitation and join Kaneva”
link contained in the email invitation.

3. When five of your friends join Kaneva, you’ll
get 500 rewards.

4. Once these friends have gone in the Virtual
World, you’ll get an additional 1000 rewards.

5. Rewards are automatically credited to your
Kaneva account. You can use rewards to purchase
3D clothes, accessories, furniture, and more!

How do I keep track of invitations I’ve sent?

• To keep track of the email invitations you’ve sent,
sign in to Kaneva, click My Friends, and then click
Requests Sent.

• From this page, you can see the status of the email
request, if
your friend has joined Kaneva, and if they’ve gone in
world.

• Friends haven’t responded? No problem. You can
resend an email invitation to a friend every 14 days.
Check the box next to the invite you’d like to resend
and click Resend.

Why aren’t I getting rewards?

There may be several reasons you’re not getting
rewarded for inviting friends, including:

• You didn’t use the “Invite A Friend” page.

• Your friend didn’t click the “Click here to
join Kaneva” link contained in the email invitation.

• Your friend didn’t join Kaneva.

• Your friend didn’t download the Virtual
World software
and go in the Virtual World.

• Your friend shares the same IP address as
another Kaneva member. You only get rewards for
each unique IP address you invite.

• Your friend is already a Kaneva member.

Keep in mind, the terms of the “invite a Friend”
rewards may be changed at any time by Kaneva.

At the top of the black background of the
control panel is the link to the community
which can be posted on other websites.

Then come the Quit button where you
can leave a community

The rest is about the same ... except
the last icon which is submit Media.
where you can click it and it will open your

uploads where you can add your media to
that community.

Oh, and if you like someones site
BY ALL MEANS LEAVE A COMMENT IN THEIR
COMMENT AREA... THE OFFICIAL ONE...
IT HELPS THEM GET THEIR INVITATION INTO
THE 3D WORLD (the all caps was not meant

as yelling just emphasis)

==============

Right hand side My Kaneva,
Sign Out, Search,
and Help.

Lets open the My Kaneva in a new tab so you
can switch back and forth between that page
and this one quickly.

So right click on MY Kaneva and open in a
new tab or window if you don't have tab
browsing.

Now you will see a lot of information there,
but lets look at the other buttons at the top
of the page.

Home takes you back to the opening page
of Kaneva,

Virtual World will take you to a page that
will list information about the Virtual World
(don't get in to big a hurry to go there).

Communities will take you to a search
page to search for communities of your
interests, people a search page

for people,

Entertainment a search page for entertainment.

The next row of buttons you see will be

My Profile, My Messages, My Friends,

My Media Uploads, My communities, and

My Account.

I suggest you click on all of those one at
a time and see what is there.

Below those starts your Kaneva page
and you will find a button on the right
hand side that will let you start your
own community.

Then back to the left you will see your
profile picture with a link to change
that picture.

Beside that you will see your message
center, new Friend requests, and
community Requests.

A little more right you see the Latest
Bulletins then a virtual world ad.

The next line of information all the
way back to the left are your stats .

Then your upload stats then the buttons
Edit Profile, Upload Media and Invite a friend.

Then a Kaneva Tips and Tricks box.

There is more, but when you see it you will
understand what it is.

My Inventory Tab

My Inventory Tab
You can now see what you have in your personal inventory
and bank using the Inventory tab on the My Accounts tab
of your My Kaneva page.
You can search using key words or using the various categories
to find the items you have.  If the Status is "In Use" that
means you have it in your inventory.  If the status is "In Storage"
then the item is in your bank.
If the status is "Pending" it means the item is waiting for your
next log in.  You have either purchased it via the website or
earned it from World Fame/Dance Fame.  Once you log in the
status will update from Pending to In Use

What is a blast
What is a Blast and how do I use it?
If you would like to send out a
message to your friends on
Kaneva, you can do so using
our “Blast” system.
This message system allows
you to send out messages
either to everyone on your
friends list, or everyone in
community to which you
belong. The types of messages
you can send out include:
  • Video links
  • Photos
  • Event messages
  • Text messages
  • Link messages (to link
  • people at a certain site
     back to Kaneva)
  • Location messages
  • (to tell people about
  • a cool
    place you found in the
  • 3D World of Kaneva)
Within the Blast Preferences
button you can
 also choose what types of
Blasts you wish
to send out and also which
type you wish to see.
To send out a Blast you must
first log in at
www.kaneva.com then head to
your My Kaneva page. In the
middle of the page you will see
a section
that contains all the blasts your
friends and Kaneva
 Admin’s have sent out. You
can also see the Blast
options available to you to
send out.

Click on the type of Blast
you wish to send out and
a new screen will appear.
On this screen you can
choose which community
you wish to send it out to,
the title of the Blast, the
information that you want
to put into the Blast
 (including links for
 URLs and Locations)
and the option to put a
color banner over your
blast (which costs Credits to do).

Once you have written or
linked to what you want to
Blast, hit the Send Blast button.
This will automatically
bring you back to the
My Kaneva page where
 your blast will show
up at the top of the Blast list.
You can see who sent the Blast,
how long ago it was sent, and
when you click on it, it will
expand the Blast so you
can read everything written
and reply to it if you want
.

Reporting someone Example

 REPORTING SOMEONE

Post

That's what I do but when you report someone by right-clicking
on their avi there is no option to attach that file. However, if you
go to the Support Center and submit a ticket to report someone
you can attach a file. I was merely suggesting that the ability to
attach a file should also be added to the reporting via right-
clicking on someone. (Again, until I recently discovered you
can attach a file to a support tix I've been uploading the screen
print as media and pasting the url in the report.)

Let me show you.

Here's the form that opens when right-click on an avi and select report:

And here's the Support Center ticket form that can also be used to report someone:

The Support Center ticket has an option to attach a file (red arrow) which
will allow one to easily attach a screenprint jpg of a chat window, if needed.
The form that opens when you right-click does not allow you to attach a file
which means you basically have to upload the screenprint of the chat window
so you can include the url in the report but uploading a screenprint of a chat
window is against policy. Yes, I made them private but still believed I was
breaking the rules. However, I saw no other way to get the jpg of the screenprint
to support. It would make it so much easier if the option to attach a file was
added to the first ticket, the one that opens when you right click on an avi in
world to report them.

Sorry so long. If I could think of a more succinct way to explain I would
have done so.

=================
No apologies necessary, if anything I applaud your attention to detail.
The inabiliity when right clicking on that persons avi to report is something
you should send in a ticket to the support center. It is an obvious glitch that
Kaneva will look into.

In the future however, do the screen shot and JPEG save and send in a
ticket to the support center via the 2D site until they get the matter resolved.

I hope this helps.
