I created the community as a response to being forced to look like a Barbie in Kaneva, not because I'm a Barbie fan or doll collector.  Hangout was begun as a joke.  I wanted everything pink and fluffy (shudder) with pictures of Barbie everywhere.  Additionally, I created a playlist composed of only one song - the obnoxious Barbie Girl.  Found 30+ videos of the song, some of which are different versions (remakes, spoofs, even an off-key karaoke version) and in different languages.  My goal was to make it a pink and fluffy and obnoxious as humanly possible and if people wanted to puke when they came that I'd accomplished the task. 
 
Imagine scouring the Internet for Barbie doll pics, searching for and using every pink texture you could find when you hate pink and building a hangout with that horrible, infectious song playing over and over.  At times my skin was crawling.  All I wanted to do was finish it and be done with it.
 
And finally I was finished.  Today I put up the last block and changed the last texture and the strangest realization came over me - I liked my club.  I mean, I really like it.  How did that happen?  How is it possible?  I don't know but, God help me, I do.  It actually turned out (dare I say it) really cool.  I don't know; I can't explain it but I think my disgusting pink club with pictures of Barbie everywhere and that God awful, infectious song is - FABULOUS!  So...I've decided to have a grand opening tonight and share it with the world.  Hope people will come and share in the joke.

Created community in response to Kaneva forcing me to look like a Barbie.  Built hangout with every hideous pink texture I could find.  And...there's only one song on the playlist so - enjoy!
