A Poem

Slumber summons me with a siren's song
beckoning, stretching out pale silver arms,
so like yours in the moonlight.
Powerless to resist, I succomb
and melt into my dreams,
caressed by tender lullabyes.
And there, amid the star splashed sea
my life stands still,
and I see only you...your eyes,
your smile, your heart of fire.
I drift blissfully among the memories.
In sleep, I am most perfectly yours.
