Right and Wrong

Right and Wrong

Is there a dividing line between right and wrong?
If so, where is it at, and how can I find it?
Because it seems to be so subjective
Many are confused and argue where it lies

But whenever a choice arises between
Right and wrong, what we should and should not do
We intuitively know the choice we should make
Because it has to do with the signals we see

There’s a light always shining from everyone’s eyes
Always available if we choose to look
Providing us info to their current needs
Letting us know how we may be of service

Here is the fundamental question at hand
Do we serve them or do we serve ourselves?
This is the difference between right and wrong
Self-aggrandizement versus love towards others

Do we do it for praise, reward, or glory
Or is it for the benefit of others?
Do we do it to feel better about ourselves
Or does it serve a purpose in society?

Could it be for self-justification?
Do we do it to ease our own burdens?
What about for self-gratification?
Could it be to appease our own egos?

Do we like ourselves in doing the task
Or do we enjoy the task for its purpose?
Because if our choices do not serve others
We can be sure we’re serving ourselves

Remember that people are always the ends
And should never be employed for the means
Because if people are utilized that way
We’re using them as pawns for own purposes

The key isn’t always to do the right thing
But to have the right motive behind the action
Any time justification pops up
We can be sure our hearts are not right

Any time a wrong decision we make
We feel that gnawing sensation in our soul
We then have to lie to ourselves to feel OK
To prove to ourselves our decision is right

Because in our own minds we would never choose
A wrong decision knowing we’re at fault
Self-deception and lies always accompany
Those choices so we can put our conscience at ease

These are the indicators between right and wrong
Do we live in tension and discomfort
Or do we feel free with a clear mind and pure heart?
One path leads to remorse, the other to joy

If right decisions we consistently make
We will trust ourselves and others will too
Because the worst feeling to have inside
Is when we can’t even trust the choices we make

The Meaning of "I AM"

The Meaning of "I AM"

Dear Friend,
The I AM power is the healing power of the universe. It's the force from which the universe is made, and it is also the basic substance of which we are made. The I AM power can be experienced as a light or as a profound feeling in the heart or as great wisdom. There is no limit to the power of the I AM to heal and transform every aspect of life. The word "OM" is a form of "I AM" as well. We can say, "I AM the power of healing, and I AM healing myself now." Or, "I AM the Life- Transforming Power, radiating in every cell of my body, every part of my mind, and every situation in my life." Using these words is a call to the universe, to the healing power, to God, asking that the doors be opened to release pure and radiant energy into our life. Transforming Negativities When we put negativities after I AM, as in "I am sick," or "I am a failure," it creates great limitation. Instead you can affirm that you are the I AM power, and you are filled with enormous capacities for transformation. Meditating with the I AM If you'd like, you can sit down in a quiet place and pay attention to your breathing. You can then say to yourself "I" on the inbreath and "AM" on the outbreath. You can keep your focus as long as possible, continuing to bring yourself back to the "I AM" whenever you can. All Paths are Built Upon I AM All mystical revelations, all paths, are based upon the I AM. God is often known as the I AM. The Judeo-Christian as well as Eastern paths are all infused with the I AM power. Jesus said, "I AM the Light of the world."

Rumi, the great Sufi poet, wrote:
I am neither a Moslem nor a Hindu
I am not Christian, Zoroastrian, nor Jew.
My place is the no-place
My image is without face
Neither of body nor the soul
I am of the Divine Whole.

Spirit and Belief

The ancient Sanctus prayer of the Liturgy of the Holy Eucharist proclaims; "Holy, holy, holy are you, God of power and might. heaven and earth are full of your glory, "Being full of the divine glory, the cosmos is also God's dwelling place. And speaking through the lips of the prophet Isaiah, the Divine Mystery said, "My house shall be a house of prayer for all peoples. "Thus to view the cosmos as a temple means to view the prayer and worship of all those who dwell on the planet Earth as the praise of the children of God.

In the First Letter of Saint John is a truth that opens us to the great mystery that God does not show partiality because of creed or race. "Beloved, let us love one another because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten of God and has knowledge of God."

Buddhist Tradition

We are what we think. What we are is

the result of our thoughts. With our thoughts

we make our world. Speak or act with an

impure mind and trouble will follow you as

the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.

Speak or act with a pure mind and

happiness wil follow you as unshakable

as your shadow.

the Lord Buddha

from the Dhammapada

<

Taoist Tradition

We are born gentle and weak.

At death we are hard and stiff.

Green plants are tender and filled with sap.

When they die they are withered and dry.

Therefore this stiff and unbending

are the diciples of death.

The gentle and yeilding

are the disciples of life.

Lao Tzu

from the Tao Te Ching

Judaic Tradition

You shall love God with all your heart,

and with all your soul,

and with all your mind.

And you shall love your neighbor

as yourself.

We are born into the world of nature;

our second birth is into the world of spirit.

We are born asleep and at death we awake.

Oh, only for so short a while

have you loaned us to each other.

Because we take form in your act of drawing us,

and we breathe in your sining us.

But only for a short while

have you loaned us to each other.

Because even a drewing cut in

crystalline absidian fades,

and the green feathers, the crown feathers,

of the Quetzal bird lose their color,

and even the sounds of the waterfall

die out in the dry season.

So, we too, because only for a short while

have you loaned us to each other.

Fear

Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate,

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves,

"Who am I to be brilliant,

gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?"

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God;
your playing small doesn't serve the World.
There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some of us,

it is in everyone of us.
And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our prescence automatically liberates others.

Forgiveness
The act of forgivness demands us to no longer act out upon pain and suffering. This is not an easy task when one is dancing in the ring of fire. Pain in itself is both horrible yet addicting. For when we see ourselves as the victim to another's actions, we in turn become the enemy. A man cannot stand rightious in his victimhood for that state of mind will only allow him to stand apart from his fellow beings. In truth we are called to unite with one another and work through that pain and suffering. If only we could understand this formula, if only it made sense; if only our emotions did not control us to travel great lengths in order to hurt one another. KAP

She Walks in Beauty

  SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY

by: George Gordon (Lord) Byron (1788-1824)

bluebutterfly.gif picture by Planet_Love
HE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

      A New Approach,
Taking A Break From What You Are Doing

Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in our thoughts that we wind up going round in round in circles, finding it difficult to concentrate on things and, because we are so distracted, not really accomplishing much. There may be signalsmental, emotional, and physicalthat tell us we need to slow down and relax. Since we are so involved in things that are external to us, however, we may easily overlook what is really going on inside of us. It is during these times that we need to step back from the things that occupy our minds and take time out to connect with our inner self, giving our minds, bodies, and spirits the time they need to reenergize and heal.

At first it may seem that by taking a break we may not be as productive as we would initially like. In reality, a healthy period of rest is something that gives us a real sense of the unlimited nature of our true potential. Spending a couple of minutes walking outside, doing a few yoga poses, meditating, or simply becoming attuned to the rising and falling of our breath enables us to let go of our worries. This act brings our focus back to the things that are truly essential for us, such as our sense of oneness with the universe and our inner peace and well-being. As we begin to get in touch with this part of ourselves, we will find that our usual everyday troubles and worries become less critical and that we not only have much more room in our lives to really reflect on the issues that mean the most to us, but we are also able bring to all the situations we encounter a much more positive and healthy outlook.

I dedicate this blog today to my many friends who are showing hidden signs of stress and related.

Giving ourselves respite from our daily concerns is like giving a gift to ourselves. By stepping away from the problems that seem to saturate our thoughts, we lessen the weight of our troubles and instead become more receptive to the wisdom and answers the universe has to offer us

      I want you to take this blog and really absorb it;

      explore life, enjoy life!.

I wish peace to all, may your weekend be delightful fun and loveing....

      much love K

      Time...

All time is in one place...

Every moment combined makes the whole, each moment experience -

collected as wholness. There is no real time just the sensation of it.

It all happens in a flash and then all is done Oneness becomes the only moment in Time...

Shifting With The Tide Energetic Motion

      Shifting With The Tide
      Energetic Motion

Since our lives are constantly in motion energetically, change is a constant element of our existence. As dynamic as that energy is, it is not random or haphazard in naturethe shifts in energy that are constantly taking place are the result of our choices. The formulation of intention, a change in perspective, or the creation of a goal can transform our lives in blink of an eye. We think positive thoughts and the world becomes a brighter place. Or we decide who we want to be and become that person. With each passing moment, we are given innumerable opportunities to create change using nothing more than our awareness.

In the span of a single second, our lives can change immeasurably because energy moves at a pace more rapid than anything we can consciously fathom. Though we may not at first be sensitive to the vibrational shifts taking place, our choices are ultimately at the heart of these transformations. We can typically recognize the consequences of key decisions because we anticipated the resultant energetic shifts. But many, if not most, of the choices we make each day are a product of instantaneous reactions, and these still have a significant impact on the energy of our existence. It is for this reason that we should learn to wield what control we can over these shifts. If we bear in mind that all we think and all we do will shape the existence we know, we can deliberately direct the energetic motion of our lives.

Each day, you make an infinite array of decisions that cause energy shifts in the world around you. In many cases, these transitions are almost imperceptible, while in others the change that takes place is palpable not only to you but also to those in your sphere of influence. Your awareness of the immediate energetic consequences of your thoughts and actions can guide you as you endeavor to make the most of the autonomy that defines you as an individual. The myriad choices you make from moment to moment, however inconsequential they may seem, represent your personal power, which sanctions you to transform the energetic tide of your existence with nothing more than your will.

      What do you think?
