Since the moment I learned how to build, I KNEW I wanted to build a HUGE castle. I fought with the idea at first, not wanting to build something so extravagant right off the bat, but my interest in medieval fantasy won me over, and construction on Castle KickinBack started on October 5th of 07' and hasn't stopped yet.
My inspiration for my castle came from pictures of Neuswanstein Castle, located just outside of Munich, Germany, but only as far as outside designs and colors go. Below, in no particular order, are some of my favorite pictures that I took of the rooms within my castle and the outside, as well as a picture of Neuswanstein Castle on a foggy day. Please enjoy =)

Neuswanstein Castle
Castle

This is the walkway that leads up to the front gate, or portcullis, of the castle. The walkway extends back then comes up to wrap around the cliff and ends at an overlook that people will one day be able to look down upon a medieval village.
The barred entryway leads into the sewers, which is a maze of walls with a murky waterway.

Walkway Ramp + Sewer Entrance

This is the courtyard, where most of the guests who come dance. The dance floor is here in the courtyard located near the guillotine, but it's under the grass since the grass pattern didn't look right on it, and I didn't wanna ruin the look with it. This was the best picture I could get of the courtyard at the time. I may try to get a better one later, but right now this'll haffta do.
Courtyard

With it's silly little roof (still waiting on smaller 45 degree angled walls) this well was a real pain in the ass to build because the base of it just did not wanna line up right. Tried as I might, I just could not get it fixed. Thanks to Tina_Luv, who came in and threw the well together like it was child's play, it looks so much better than I could have ever done with it. Because of her help, I have named it, Tina's Luv Well, and I someday plan to put a plaque on the well with her name on it. Unfortunately the basket I used as the bucket was just a tad small to fit the water in, so now it looks as if the bucket has a blue checkered ring around the mouth. Also, thanks to germanf20mass, I was able to get the rope lights I needed to complete the handle Even though they don't connect to the bucket as I had hoped, you really can't tell unless you get up close in 1st person view. Thanks Tina & german =)
Well

The Grand Hall. The freakishly huge lobby most castles have. This is where it all begins. The Grand Hall typically looks like the most spectacular portion of the entire castle in order to capture the awe of those who enter and strike up their curiosity to see the rest. First impressions of what to expect within the castle walls usually start here.
Grand Hall

This is the feast hall. The colored seats are for the royal family and were decorated by the ones who sit in them. The cups are colored in accordance to superiority. Gold for the royal family, silver for the top ranked court staff, and bronze for the other staff members or guests. The picture hanging on the back wall is my RL family's Coat of Arms.
Feast Hall

This is the master bedroom, which I share with my loving girlfriend, QuietSong. In here I have 2 shelves full of my faberge egg collection. There are a total of 49 eggs in all. I don't collect them in RL, but I thought they would be a great addition to the elegant theme of the castle. Above the dresser is a picture of all 3 of my lovely K-Daughters. Not shown is another bookshelf against the far wall just to the left of the one shown , the larger of the two shelves of eggs even further to the left and against another wall, and behind me and just to my left is a fireplace with individual pictures of my 3 daughters above the mantle.
Master Bedroom

This is the throne room where the royal family spend a lot of their time. Each member of the family typically had their own throne, as does my K-Family. Each member of my K-Family has decorated their particular throne in patterns of their choosing. Starting from left to right, even though you can't really see the 2 thrones on the end, are Tia's throne (Middle daughter), KickinBackJr's throne (RL son), my throne (King), QuietSong's throne (Queen), and Emo's throne (Youngest daughter).
Throne Room

This is the one of many guard barracks, located in the two front towers and on majority of the floors within them. The concept for deigning them came from the video game, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, for the X-Box 360. I knew I had captured the essence of the towers in the game when someone mentioned to me that they reminded her of the towers in Oblivion. Thanks for noticing Jenn_Lynn =)
Barracks

This is the catwalk upon the walls of the castle. The guards use these to not only get from tower to tower, but they patrol the catwalks to keep an eye out for anyone or anything approaching the castle. If need be, the steps would allow them to get get up onto the catwalk, or get down to the courtyard without having to risk injury by jumping down, or waste time going through the towers. The catwalk stretches the entire length of the wall. There is another one on the opposite side of the courtyard as well.
Cat Walk

This is the wine cellar. It's built directly under the kitchen for easy access for the cook to retrieve one or more of the different varieties of wine to serve at meals or even cook with.
Wine Cellar

The treasury holds the currency of the royal family and is typically guarded at all times and is protected by a massive door. The treasurer keeps track of all the assets being spent and gained at any time and usually advises the king about how and when to spend the kingdoms money.

This is just a hallway that connects the dungeon to all the other underground rooms.
Dungeon Corridor

This is the dungeon where anyone foolish enough to commit a crime and get captured, are tossed to serve their time. They are kept here for a set duration of time or until their punishment can be decided, whether it be execution, torture, questioning, or whatever.
Dungeon

This is the Overlook. It extends outwards from the front gate so that players can stand high and gaze down upon what is now dirt, but will hopefully someday be a vast medieval village.
Overlook

The portcullis, which typically served as the gate that separated castles from the public, is always up to welcome all visitors, and beyond is the entrance into the main structure of the castle, as well as the balcony upon which the royal family would stand to address the citizens, or just sit to relax on a nice day.
Portculis + Front Door

This is my pride and joy. The object that gets asked about the most, and has already seen a fair share of victims. The blood on the blade, which unfortunately isn't a traditional triangular shape (we need some inverted angled walls, Kaneva), can prove that it's been quite useful in dealing with pests and those guys who think that getting too close to one of my K-Daughters was a good idea, Haha. This is my guillotine, and it's also available to women for dealing with cheating beaus ;-)
Guillotine

This is the front wall of the castle. Within it's walls will be the gallery within which I will hang up some of my favorite screenshots. The top can also be walked upon, so that guards can  keep an eye on the front of the castle between the portcullis and the guard barracks within the towers on either side. This is also where I decided to hang the projectors, as you can tell, since it had the most space to fit the entire screen, plus so I can watch who comes through the gate and greet them.
Front Wall

This is Serenablack's kitchen. I say that because she is the one who put it all together, except the patterns of course. We also consider her the head cook of the castle, and anyone who messes around in her kitchen, have to deal with her, Haha. Thanks Serena for all your help =)
Kitchen

This is the bathroom, or privy. It's a pretty big room for a single toilet, but right now it's gonna stay that way until I'm ready to finish it. The only two items not pictured are a shelf next to the shower and a sink just to the left of where I was standing to take the picture.
Privy

This is the bedroom of my eldest K-Daughter kaynambz31. That is a picture of her and her RL woman on the wall behind the bed. I allowed all 3 of my K-Daughters to decorate their rooms. After the way this room turned out, I dunno why I allowed that, Haha. Just kidding kay. Ya know I love ya, Sweety =)
Kay's Room

This bedroom belongs to my two youngest K-Daughters, XxXEmoXFreakXxX and tiamoitaly123. The left side is Emo's half of the room, and the right half is tia's portion of the room. They share a bedroom simply because they are the youngest two of my 3 daughters, and I'm not gonna build a separate room for them all, Haha. Once again, I let them decorate their own halves of the room.

This is just a corridor concealed within the castle wall. This corridor is used to connect the two towers, allowing guards to move back and forth from tower to tower without being spotted by the enemy as well as a means for members of the royal family to move undetected. There is a similar corridor within the wall on the opposite side of the courtyard as well, connecting the two towers on that side. The passage to the left leads down to the dungeon. Had this been a picture of the opposite corridor, the passage would have been to the right.
Guard Tower Corridor

This is the mess hall where the guards can sit down and enjoy their meals. Although it is not complete, the tables and chairs can still serve their purposes. There is a mess hall in the front tower opposite the one I took this picture in as well.
Mess hall

This room belongs to the Captain of the Guard. The lucky man not only gets his own room, but a bigger bed as well. Just to my right is a world globe, which unfortunately can't be seen, and the brown object in the top left corner is a bookshelf. Above the bed, and all the beds within the towers, is a picture of my family's Coat of Arms. On the floor is a trap door that marks the ladders that lead back down to the floors below. They are located in every tower on every floor, with exception of the ground floors.
Captain's Room

This is just a simple storage room where many different items for use around the castle are kept. That's it, nothing more.
Storage Room

This is the lower section of the wine cellar where yet even more varieties of wine are kept.
Wine Cellar 2nd Floor

This is the archives. This is where many of the scrolls are kept that have to deal with many different things, such as tax records and other written forms and documents. They are generally kept in an order to where they can easily be found.
Archives

This is the armory where extra weapons and suits of armor for the current guards and new recruits are kept.
Armory

This is the torture chamber. It's built directly below the dungeon so that those being tortured can be heard by the other inmates. The sounds of those being tortured will tempt the inmates to either admit to their crimes, or if they are released, prevent them from committing any further crimes.

Well, that's it for now. These are all the rooms and a couple corridors that are within my castle, except for the rooms on the 3rd floor, which I've only recently built and will put on here at some point in the future. As you can tell, the castle isn't entirely complete, lacking ceilings, furniture, decor, and even windows. However, all those things will become apart of the castle in due time. Currently I am working to get the entire structure itself complete before focusing on what to put in the rooms.
I also have plans to build a gallows and a couple of catapults, and maybe even a ballista, plus a castle stable for the horses. At some point I'm even wanting to build a fountain, but probably not until, or if, they ever give us smaller curved walls.
For now, what you see is what you get, and if it wasn't for a few good friends, all this would have never been built. Throughout the course of building, I have had donations given to me by people to help get the castle built. Without those people, I'd've never gotten as far as I am as quickly as I did. So, my thanks and gratitude go out to all those who have been generous enough to donate credits to me.

Below is a list of those who have donated to the castle and the amounts (in parentheses) that they donated.

Watamaraka
(2000) -- 500 credits towards the deed & 1,500 to get started.
Scorne (342) -- He just got tired of seeing the big hole that is now the courtyard
Nya_Nyte (500) -- Just a generous donation simply because.
cute_but_pshyco (820) -- A donation she gave me to save me from boredom one day.
guardianangelcanada (1,500) -- I didn't even expect this donation.
tnawr1 (250) -- I actually won this in a dance contest, but I used the credits for the castle.
Ahawk (900) -- A generous donation to help me get things ready for my wedding with Different_nAture.
Serenablack (17,000) -- Love this girl to death. Thank you so much, Serena ~HUGS~

Thanks to all of you for your donations. You've all been great friends, and those of you who no longer play, you'll be missed dearly.
