Track and Field Games Thursday December 4th 2008 6pm Est.
Hello my fellow Kaneveans
I was thinking on what kind of activity it would be fun to host and with the Kaneva spirit event going on at the moment the idea of hosting some kind of games came to mind.
The games that we will be competing on are as follow:
Running
Long jump
High jump
Hurdles
Balance Post
Depending on the amount of people that enter the games, we will have elimination rounds for each event. And there will be three winners: first, second, and third places on each category.
Running:
This is a long distance run. Three laps around the field, the first three to reach the finish line win or advance to next round (depending on the amount of participants)
Long Jump
This event is simple the participant start at one point and jumps, the three with the longest jump are the winners (again if necessary there will be several rounds)
High Jump
This event requires you to jump over a high wall clearing it at the first attempt without stepping on it. Again three winners (depending on the amount of participants there may be elimination rounds)
Hurdles
In this event the participants would be running and (on the first try) jumping over the obstacles, if you stop to jump or don’t clear the hurdle you will be eliminated. The first three to reach the finish line are the winners. (depending on the amount of participants there may be elimination rounds)
Balance post
This event you are required to jump and land on top of a small post at the first try, you are eliminated if you are not able to do it in your first try. There will be three winners in this event (depending on the amount of participants there may be elimination rounds).
Prizes for each event.
First prize:1000 credits
Second prize: 500 credits
Third Prize :250 credits
