wow, I got boxes!!!

Well, today, we are under a tornado watch until at least 7 pm. My son had a atrocious diaper earlier, but, all he could do was grin at me, and almost giggle. We got 2 huge heavy boxes from my mom and dad in Texas. One box was all books. goodness!!! We also got a brand new vaccuum. We got one of those Dyson's its a DC14. Wow, can this vaccuum pick up!!! I then made a big boo boo, and I accidnetally pressed the button on the caniser to dump the dirt, oh yeah, it did , right back onto the carpet, and my feet!!

Soo.. there I was vaccuuming again in the "dump site".

Back to those boxes from my family. One was full of clothes and toys. And they were addressed to "Master Christopher c/o his parents, and from Nanna and Pappa N. ( insert my maiden name here) :-)

I know that all of my family misses him terribly. We have a video camera, but, heck if I can figure out how to convert a VOB file to a MOV, or AVI file, so that I can send it to them.

I need to talk to my brother in law, hes an IT tech, and a computer wiz. Hes been at a conferance in New Orleans, LA for the company he works for.

Chris is fianlly eating, and hes loves his Podee bottle. I use it for when we are in the stroller, or the car, or I am busy doing things around the house.

Well, Ive got to move on to something else, just checking in. :)

havent been feeling too well

Well, My throat has really been bothering me lately, and its really red. Some of the over the counter meds Ive beeen taking havent helped at all. I took some different stuff, and drank a hot rum toddy. If it isnt any better, my husband wants to take me to the doctor. Since I am caring for our son at home, we diffinately do not want him to get anything, since he is not even 3 months old yet.

I am praying this does not get any worse. It hurts way far down in my throat, and my tonsil area, plus bad pain on the side of my neck, and down in my ear. :( Definately not any fun.

We are struggling a bit, so, if anyone who reads this would like to remember us in your thoughts, and prayers, we would very much appreciate it.

another day in the life

Well, another day, Chris our son, seems fine from the shots. I was up so late, but, I usually am. Its almost 6 pm here, and I have to go fix something for us to eat soon. I visited some old frends on Second Life today, some I have not seen in a while. Hopefully soon, Kaneva will send an invite soon :).

I sure would love to see whats its like.

Why I am still awake at this hour

(A letter to my baby son, I have written a few to show him one day, this is one of them)

Dearest One:

I have a thought, I have a mulled over contemplative ramble, I am too quiet in the middle of the night, where none but you and me reside. Your father sleeps in a nearby room, but, I am awake, and watching over you. You are so small, and seem uncomfortable. Maybe it is just me, and my mommy brain searching for things. I am lucky to find anything in this house, or much less to know what day it is.

I dont even hardly wear my watch anymore, since it is just you and me home all day, while your father is at work.

Today when you got your 2+ month old shots, I felt like those nurses were torturing me to make me have to hold your legs while they pressed those needles in. Thank god they let me hold, kiss and cuddle you after. Near cracked a tiny piece of my heart off too.

As I have told you before, the day you were born is one I wont forget. Having your little self be my son, and share you with your daddy is one thing I will always cherish. Thank you for being our little boy, and we will do our best to always be the best parents we can be, and always be here for you. Know how much we love you,
