I am SmilySmile; my name really says a lot about me and almost speaks for itself.
To tell you more about myself…
I would like to refer to the words of Emily Dickinson:
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin into his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
That really says it all….I enjoy helping others;
the happiness and well being of others are important to me.
Hopefully in future when you see me or my name, you will remember to SMILE!
My speech at the Elegance Pageant show:
I love dancing, but prefer to keep that for another time, hopefully a wider selection of dance moves in time to come.
So my next best talent:
I do enjoy doing motivational speeches and would like to take advantage of the opportunity to share a thought with you on LAUGHTER!
3 questions: Take time and think about the answers…be honest with yourself.
How often do you laugh?
When last did you laugh?
What makes you laugh?
Laughter is one of the most important things in life; sadly so many people don’t realize this. To laugh not only helps to reduce stress, anxiety and frustrations; it releases a chemical in the brain that helps make you feel better.
If you are not laughing much, if the stresses and seriousness of life is getting to you…please listen to this…please take note…
Start laughing…now, tonight…Laugh at yourself and at life;
People, such as Norman Cousins’ and others, have claimed to be cured of a fatal disease with laughter.
When I work with clients privately, I bring laughter into the procedure as soon as I can. The quicker we can laugh about something, the easier it is to let go.
Like Lyn Karol said: “Learn to laugh at your troubles and you will never run out of things to laugh at”;
And Fran Clark: “The next best thing to solving a problem is to finding some humor in it.”
I leave with you the thought…do whatever you can to start laughing. Focus on it…concentrate on it…the next time you are furious and feel like screaming…start laughing…or when you are worried about something…think of something that will make you laugh…and start laughing.
Practice your way to a happier and healthier life by LAUGHING. It eventually becomes a joy and pleasure.
Laugh, Laugh…Don’t underestimate the power of laughter.
HAVE FUN!
