I thought I added this as a blog already but nope! On April 09, '09, my granddaughter, Kellie Lynn, died. She died of a seizure while she slept. During her delivery, the doctor waited too long before giving my daughter an emergency C-section. It was a 1 hr. 12 min. delay, which caused oxygen to be deprieved from Kellie. She was born with Cerebral Palsy, Seizures and Severe Retardation. In the 3 yrs. we were blessed to have her, she never advanced beyond a 0-1 month old level. And of course, to add more pain to my daughter and her husband, they are trying to claim it was HER fault during pregnancy. But with prayers, hopefully, one lawyer will be daring enough and willing enough to take the 'big' hospital on and win this fight. On the happy side, Katie (my daughter, Kellie's mom) is having another baby on June 4th. This time they are prepared and she will be having a scheduled C-section. Right now, they are saying it's a GIRL! Woohoo! And they are naming her Hope LaVon.
