Haven't been on here in a while, but here's an update for anyone interested:

 

~Year Zero came out on April 17th and debuted at #2 on the billboard charts

~NIN is now on tour again in Australia at the moment, but I'm pretty sure the Sydney show tonight has been postponed. I don't know why yet, though.

~The tour then goes to Japan and then back to Europe. No North American tour dates have been scheduled yet (gaahhh)

You can now listen to the whole Year Zero album on nin.com. The album is being released on April 17th

Another song off of Year Zero has been leaked, "The Beginning Of The End". This was not found in the bathroom like other leaked songs have been, instead a radio station in CA has been playing it even though they are not supposed to. There are files on the internet you can download to get it. Again, I'd try echoingthesound.org to get some good links. To hear the other songs that have been found in venue bathrooms you can now listen to them on Nine Inch Nails' myspace page.

Tonight another song was found on a flashdrvie in the bathroom at the show tonight in Manchester. The song is "In This Twighlight". People predicted it was going to be found tonight because everytime a song is about to be released pixelations will appear near that title on the Year Zero site. So if you want to find out which song will be next then (if the pattern continues) go to yearzero.nin.com. There are links on the ETS board if you want to hear it. I would let you listen to it straight on this site but Interscope has been sending cease and desist orders to people who put it on there sites (which means Interscope isn't too happy with the way Trent is releasing his music). Instead of a blog I decided to use this area to post updates and news on the band. I'm a member of The Spiral (Nine Inch Nails fan club) so I get news and stuff pretty ealry on. Anyways, here are some things currently going on with NIN:

~Nine Inch Nails is currently on a European tour, then going to Australia, and then Japan.

~Beside You In Time, the new concert dvd from the With Teeth tour is coming out February 27th (in the U.S.)

~Year Zero, the new album is due April 17th (in the U.S.). Three songs (My Violent Heart;Survivalism;and Me, I'm Not) have already been released/leaked

~An alternate reality web trail linked to Year Zero is going on right now. Clues are being found every week linking people to new sites and phone numbers. It has a complex story and first started with the back of a concert t-shirt from Europe where letters were highlighted spelling out"I am trying to believe". This led people to the first site: www.iamtryingtobelieve.com and they continued from there. This also led to the "leaking" of two songs which were found in the bathrooms at certain concert venues, and it has later been discovered that they were put there on purpose when Trent Reznor actually posted in the forum at The Spiral about the new song. To follow this web trail, I would recommend going to www.echoingthesound.org and start from there.
