You know what shocks me about "war"?
I never understood it when I was younger and I do know I hope that I can enlighten you on what I believe and who knows maybe open your minds.
When I think of "War" I think of blood shed, unaccomplished acts of evil, tears, family's who have to bury their daughters, brothers, sons, fathers, uncles, cousins, friends, on both sides. It's a terrible thing to think about, to obsess about. But like many topics its a topic that is left unsaid or that is not thought deeply about.
I hear people on the streets, "yeah kill those towel heads, go USA" But what about putting yourself in their shoes as well. What we're doing to those family's is the same thing they've done for us. All we have provided on both sides is nothing but graves for their loved ones. I know that many people in Iraq and ect. hate the USA, because of what their ancestors have told them, taught them none the less but blame them for it? What have they really done except become a victim of this cruel cycle of hate. What's sad is not all the peoples beliefs revolve around these hateful feelings.
What's sad is killing for peace....think about it Killing FOR Peace! Really? ok so I'm going to have sex for virginity, that's how stupid it sounds. I'm tired of always turning around and seeing how many people have died, and waiting for that one phone call that changes your hope, and life. People say you have to fight for your freedom, WHY DO WE HAVE TO FIGHT?
If EVERYONE decided to stand up and say I'm not going to fight, this world would be such an amazing place, more beautiful than what anyone has ever imagined. I'm a strong believer in everything happens for a reason. But I still haven't found a reason for fighting. I'm tired, I'm so tired and I know that I cannot change the world on my own, but damnit I'm going to try.
At least I can say I've tried which is more than what some people can say. I've tried and I've tried and I will still try. I believe if I can change the mind of one or more people than hopefully those people can change other minds.
People are people!!!!!! does not matter the race, the beliefs, their religion, there sexuality, if their gay or strait when It comes down to it people are people..... they feel, they think, they love, they cry, so why are we treating them so different. IT IS NOT HUMANE, WAR IS NOT HUMANE!!!
Someone once told me if I felt strongly about something to run with it until my little heart takes it's last beat, change what and who I can, and I can honestly say that My heart is still beating, and I am still running..... But change that's more than what one person can do.
I'm going to go know and I hope that maybe I have changed your view or have enlightened you on things you have never thought of. I hope you can accept my beliefs on this topic as well, if you agree or disagree.
