Deep thoughts...

Lately I've been thinking about taking a break from kaneva or perhaps even giving it up altogether...
Most of the time I just write on here and although I made alot of friends...
Most of them are gone...with the exception of Mz.Parody and another friend..
Alot of people have left..I don't know maybe its just me..
I kinda feel like my time purpose for being here has been met...which was only
to inspired others and write and share my music with anyone willing to read as well as listen..
Maybe I'm just having a bad day or something I don't know...

Before I Begin I Give All Praise & Thanks To The Lord Of Spirits Above
The Great Eternal One...That Which Was Even Before The Beginning Of Time
And Is And Forever Shall Be Alive Whose Spirit Is Poured Out Unto All Flesh
Whose Love & Light Always Shines Within The Hearts Of Us All
Whose Spirit, Love, Power, And Wisdom Are Imparted In Accordance To His Will
Unto His Chosen...Even Unto One Who Is Truly Not Worthy By His Grace

I Never Thought...

I never thought I would ever reveal
Matters of the heart that most people try to conceal
I never thought that most even cared
What Inspired Soul thinks and the things that I've shared
And yet to be true I write this all for you
To Inspire and lift higher those hearts that too have been through the fire

In a world that has grown stone cold
Making some feeling weary and down and do I dare mention old?
For what I do is not for glory and fame
Lest I risk becoming like some people and being brought down to shame

I never thought I would dare to believe
That in a spiritual sense that I could ever perceive
Through wisdom the understanding and truth thats everlasting
In words unspoken yet heard written down on this site

5/7/08 Politics...(sighs)

Ever get tired of hearing about politics on the news?
Well for some that maybe so and for others maybe not.
I will say that last night's results was a bit interesting
however I would be glad if they just wrap it up and move on.

I'm one that usually doesn't get involved in that area.
For they always make promises and it all sounds good
but for most of us who are wise to "the game"
we know that they will do/say almost anything to get elected.
However in this instance this time around more and more people
are taking notice to this election more than the previous elections.

Some say that this election will make history. For we will
see for the first time either the first African American
or First woman president. If this is so then all I can say
is I hope that whoever wins that they at least make do
on their campaign promises...Hmmm...(yeah right lol).

By Prayer & Faith And Time Have Been Answered At Last

Its All Good...

It's been awhile since I wrote a blog on here to be true lol
but as I said many times its what I'm led to do
for I feel just to stay real and I say no less
that somebody... somewhere reading this indeed might be blessed :)

I left kaneva for awhile to help tend to my mother
who was fighting breast cancer not to mention dealings with other
matters of the heart and things of the spirit
which in the end is all good and her cancer is gone :)

Well Here I Go As I Flow In The Spirit I Write
As Im Led Another Entry That Im Sure Shall Delight
My Fellow Readers And The Believers That Are Of My Kind
Another Gift I Share With All And In These Words You'll Find

A Soul Inspired And Truly Gifted Who Words Have Uplifted
Many Hearts That Was Low And Defeated Foes Who Was Wicked
Whose Purpose Is Clear And Yet Unknown To Many
Often Feared Misundertood And Some Even Filled With Envy

But In These Writings I Shall Not Boast Nor Write Anything In My Post
That Will Deceive And Make One Disbelieve For Im One Unlike Most
Who Is Humble Yet I Too Have Stumbled As I Walked A Path
Seeing Light n Dark And I've Unleashed My Wrath

But This Is Not About Anger For To Some Im Just A Stranger
And In These Words Shall Not I Put One Soul In Danger
What I Do I'm Led To Do And From The Spirit I Write
And To Some I'm Just Tone aka "Inspired Soul" And To Others (ex: Yahoo) I'm known as "Night."

But Its Not In The Name But Rather Whats In The Man
And If One Writes From The Heart Indeed One Surely Can

Accepted In Faith Received By Grace
In Spirit As One Dwells In This Place

The Wickedness Of Evil This World Has Shown
Behold A Wrath Once Hidden Now Known

Transform This Vessel Before Their Eyes
Revealing Truth Dispelling All Lies
For The Darkness Of Evil Cannot Bare The Light
Nor The Power Of Truth Bestowed Unto This Soul

For Within This Spirit Of Light Is Anointed
Being Blessed With True Wisdom And Also Appointed
To Gather From The Earth Others Whom Are Blessed
And Knowing This Truth Their Hearts Have Confessed

For The Time Is Now For Those Whom Believe
Separate Yourselves From Those Who Deceive
For Your Spirit Within Also Heeds This Voice
And With The Time Thats Given Shall You Now Make The Choice

For Two Paths Are Before You...Only One You Shall Take
Choose Wisely In Deciding The Decision That You Make

As This Year Approaches Its End Another New Year Is About To Begin
Many Things Took Place In The Past Isn't It Amazing How Time Goes So Fast?
As With All Things One Endures In This Life
Are Challenges Which Can Make Us Stronger Even In Times Of Strife
As I Look Back On This Year Some I Know Are No More
Only Their Memories Remain In This Heart Forevermore
I Reflect On Many Things That Once Was Said
As Their Words Ring Aloud In My Spirit As A Guide For Wisdom My Soul Is Led

As I Look To The Heavens And The Stars Above At Night
I Find Peace In Knowing Tomorrow All Will Be Alright
As I Hope For The Future And A Better Tomorrow
Lessens The Harsh Realities Of A World Filled With Such Pain And Sorrow
For The World As We Know Is Often Filled With Such Hate
And Love Is Such A Rare Thing But Still Its Not To Late

As I Write These Words I Wonder How Do You Feel?

A Night Of Reflections.......

Once Again I Am Here Just Sitting In The Dark
Feeling Inspired From This Heart Within As My Imagination Begins To Spark
The Music Plays...And Many Thoughts Come To My Mind
Of This Past Year And Some Was Good And Some Was Not So Kind
Complications Stemmed From Situations Which Shook My World To Its Very Foundations
Learned Alot About Self And Even Past Relations Was Tempted By The World Yet Resisted Temptations
Was Ridiculed By Many And Mocked By A Few Stood Up To Accusations And In My Heart Remained True

The Tests Of Time Almost Drove Me To Insanity
Sometimes Coming Out Of Character And Speaking All Sorts Of Profanity
But One Thing Was Shown That I Can Never Deny
That Is This True Heart Within Is Eternal And Shall Never Die
One Might Lose Their Mind But Never Lose One's Heart
And It Was Love That Saved Me This I Confess With No Shame On My Part

This Is The First Time I Wrote In Quite A Long Time
And Even Now Its Kinda Difficult To Write My Feelings In Rhyme
But It Is Good Because For Me I Still Write From The Heart
And Im Grateful These Gifts Within Me I Know Shall Never Depart

Revealed As My Inner Voice Thru Words Is What You Heed

One Never See's The True Heart Of Oneself Within Unless One Looks Within To See
And One Cannot Write From One's Heart & Spirit Unless One Is In Touch With One's True Inner Self
What The Spirit Reveals Isnt The Same As The Mind For The Mind Is Simply Flesh
And Although Its Apart Of Us...In Time Dies & Decays And Yet The Spirit Is Eternal
Never Bound By Time Nor Space Nor Is It Limited But Limitless

One May Never Know Truly What Their Purpose And Destiny Maybe In Life
Never Giving Much Thought About This Matter And At Times Enduring Strife
And Yet For The Few...Sometimes A Little Light Is Shined In The Darkness To Light Their Way
Revealing A Small Piece Of A Puzzle To One's Future And "The Chosen" Understand These Words I Say

One Cannot Truly Comprehend Fully This Matter Unless True Wisdom Has Been Imparted
For Even The Most Intelligent Person Can Be Foolish In Their Thinking And In Their Opinions Thwarted
By Confusing Even The Simplest Of Truth And Implying Man's Limited Understanding Of A Spiritual Kind
Which In The End Keeps One Ignorant And Lost In The Vastness Of Human Misconception That Binds

One Soul Given The Sight Must Be Shared Among The Many Who Simply Cannot See
And The Gifts That Are Bestowed Within This Shell I Openly Share With Thee
For One Thought In "This Soul" Can Indeed Spark And Awaken The Spiritual Mind Of Many Within
Being Used As A Key For Others To See Opening The Minds & Hearts

Winding Down

Just got finish working on one of my new songs...
Its so time consuming and I get so caught up in it that I lose track of time...I did manage to get more accomplished tonight than I had expected however it wasnt easy because I had a nasty fall and bashed my knee up pretty good and it was very uncomfortable..

But hey what can I say I love music and my music is me...and despite having a coldpack on the knee spending some time working on the song is well worth it..

Be that as it may I just thought I take a moment and not write the typical ole poems that some whom may have read previous entries might expect..I should note that from time to time one may find entries like this in which I just open up and write plainly without poems or riddles of whit contained in them..just consider it as me showing a lil more of the real person that is known as "Night" for all who care to know...

Well thats it for now..I thank you the readers for taking the time to read this and hope your evening was a pleasant one along with the rest of week...
