Woot!

I've finally gotten that dang media convert site to work so I'm adding vids this morning for the upcoming clambake. If anyone has any suggestions, remember this will be oldies beach type music, please feel free to post them here.

About time...

Well, I know I've been slacking on this site and concentrating on the virtual world part. I'm hoping to remedy that. But anyway, I've changed the beach to a more late evening setting, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Last night we passed 700 raves woot! Thanks everyone. You all have my appreciation. ^_^

So, Jojo_Starfinder and I were talking about a possible clambake/bbq type party thingy on the beach one night with oldies beach type music. Right now, I'm trying to get some vid files converted and not having much luck with it (*makes mental note to make FT do it*) but I will be setting this up soon. I'll let you all know a date for it.

One other thing. I've posted some rules on the beach, so please note them next time you visit. For the most part, they're just common courtesy and anyone with some home training would follow them without even knowing. One of the rules though is don't complain about the music. The reason for this is because there are tons of places that play all kinds of different music. I don't want to be just like them, so I play what I like. Heh. BUT, I've made a decision. You guys and gals who are members here may now participate in a little game of sorts. Every other week I'll have a drawing and pick out someone's name who will have their music night on the beach. Here's how it will work.

I'll post in the Members' parties section of the forum the date of the next members' own music party, and if you want a chance to win, you'll post a reply saying you want in on it. Please don't participate if you know you're not going to be on the night of the party or I'll smack you. I'll close the thread for entries after a week and pick a name from a hat and notify that person they have won. That person will then send me a list of the songs and/or vids on THEIR playlist for me to add, and during the party, I'll play those songs. Got it? Good. :D Enjoy!
