About me: |
 |
I am a mom of two or should I say three. I have my dog who just turned 15 in February and thinks she is a kid. I love nostalgia and antiques. They are history that are still around, if only they could talk! I get shy around others, but if they talk to me I can and do become talkative. LOL. I have my moments when I can get loud when frustrated , but I usually hide my true feelings. ( I don't like to impose on others). I'm hoping to get a children's book published after I am through with the proofreading. I added some art to our local ground transportation center a year ago, and they finished putting the rest up this last fall. (YAY!)

Hobbies: |
 |
I have a lot of hobbies. I draw, as you can see from the above characature. I paint with oils, use pastels, have sculpted in clay, carving and wood burning. I turn 1/6 scale figures (ie: GI Joes and Barbies) into real life people like my big brother and twin sister (fraternal). I made one of Buddy Holly, Adrian Paul (as Duncan McCloud the Highlander) and one of Usher for my friend's daughter. I sew, made me a shirt and some 1/6 scale clothes, and help make blankets. I found I am pretty good with doing new crafts too. I have GOD to thank for that. I also collect a lot of stuff, like Tarzan books and comics. Andrews Sisters 78 records and sheet music. Original Star Wars toys and books. I have tons of maps too.

Favorite Brands: |

Well, if you're talking food and drink then Chef Boyardi Ravioli and Dr. Pepper plain and Cherry Vanilla flavored. Clothing, anything that is low priced and affordable and not made by poor overworked children who should be playing and going to school!

Role Model(s): |
 |
Jesus was and is probably the best role model ever, for anyone! Any one who is for the underdog and for what is right is a good choice. Those who help the needy without flaunting it and generally cares for others are too. Stefanie Powers. (She won't wear real furs and started the William Holden Wildlife Refuge in Kenya, Africa), to preserve the endangered animals and other wildlife.

I'd like to meet: |
 |
I would liked to have met Johnny Weissmuller (1904-1984), the greatest swimmer of the first half of the 20th century (and played Tarzan). I wish I could meet Patty Andrews, surviving sister of the Andrews Sisters and Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart).
