Little Miss Caelyn

Granddaughter YEAH !!!!

Yes, we had our own Easter Miracle on April 12th, 2009. The arrival, 10 days early, of my first grandchild. The trip was long (about 18 hours) but when we got to see her, she was like a sunshine in our hearts!

Little Miss Caelyn came into this world at 8:58 am at oh so tiny 6 lbs and 18 1/2 inches. She is healthy and has great lungs!

I just wish I was closer to my daughter at this time, but needless to say we are buring up the phone lines.

Dax and I want to thank all of your for your well wishes and I must say, contiuned prayers for the sleep of her mother will be well appreciated by her I am sure, as we are to far away to babysit.

Just wanted to pass on our thanks, and of course, be on the look out for those forthcoming baby pictures from proud grandparents!!

Let's get this straight

Ok, now I must admit I am very flattered and humbled by the barrage (alright, only 5 in the last 2 weeks, but hey I am 42, for ME that is a barrage) of personal messages coming to me from well intended men looking to 'hook up.'

I know Kaneva is a social site, but it is not for ALL of us a DATING site.

The messages are all very nice and as I said flattering. (it is nice to know someone else likes my smile) but they are unsolicited to say the VERY least, and one down right intrusive.

If, as they say, they found I am so very interesting and fun loving etc. etc. by reading my profile, I think they need to look a bit harder to see the MARRIED description as well. As some of you know very very Happily married to boot.

Now I have nothing against talking and being friendly and after I get to know someone, even some harmless flirting (with Dax present of course) to keep everything light, but come on now, tell me where it says on my profile I am out hunting for a piece of ....... something. If it does, tell Dax to quit messing with my stuff

. (ok, just my online stuff, now hush)

So, if another well meaning young man stops by my 2D and raves it, THANKS, but I am not here for 'hooking up'. I already found the love of my life, and it no way will I even think of jeopardizing that by playing around.

Send me a friend request and I will add you...but don't push it farther. I WILL NOT answer that, nor will I add you.
