Christian Believers Fellowship meeting Jan 14 2009

Here are my reflections of the CBF meeting at the Kaneva Ski Lodge! We began the evening by trying out our skis on the steep slope covered with powdery snow! A few showoffs decided to descend backwards, to the entertainment of us all! Next, we went into the Lodge to warm up by the fireplace with some hot cocoa, fresh from the cafe. We enjoyed looking in the guest rooms so beautifully furnished upstairs! Our hostess lexluthorswife invited us to come see her Gingerbread home, a two-story mansion with a large porch to enjoy! Everything was decorated in delicious candy patterns, including the kitchen and dining room furniture! We enjoyed warming up in the jacuzzi upstairs, which was filled with melted peppermint canes! (a sticky situation indeed) Next, we posed with Santa at an outdoor gazebo, then followed the tracks to the Christmas candy train, generously loaded with presents! Next, we went into the Gingerbread Church for a worship service. We enjoyed songs about the sweetness of knowing and trusting in Jesus. Then we enjoyed an amazing story about a criminal who went to Church, as told by Kenneth Copeland. People began to testify of God's protection in their lives and how much He meant to them! It was a very sweet time together with the Christian Believers Fellowship!
