Also connected with this circle of crooks is Digital River of Eden Prairie, MN, who supplies the CD's of purchesed software.

Six months ago, Riska1 purchased AVS Video Tools using PayPal and to this day it still doesn't work. It won't register and countless emails to AVS Support have proved useless. Complaints to PayPal have also proved to be a waste of time. Riska1 has now taken the issue to eBay officials to get their sales privaleges with PayPal revoked.

Be on ALERT.... do not buy any products from Online Media Technologies, AVS, and Digital River or suffer the same fate

The State's Attorney General's Office is currently investigating consumer complaints that involves Target Corporation and Target National Bank, both of Minneaoplis, Minnisota in a scheme to bilk millions of dollars out of account holders.

It has been uncovered that Target Corp. has set up a sixty day lag system in the use of  Target brand credit cards where the consumer gets billing after the due date posted on the statement making any payments on that statement automatically late in which Target reaps $30.00 at hit in the form of late charges.

Consumers have resorted to making copies of the statements and submitting payments every 10 days to avoid late fees because Target claims a ten day processing time frame of payments to be posted on top of the 60 built-in lag. Consumers have also used the amount of the payment as a date code so the excessive payment requirements are traceable.

FCC Votes on Comcast

Gets The Boot !!!

May 30, 2008 - Following long term Comcast connection testing at the offices of MarSayHarrington Associates, C.E.O. and founder, Steve Yates orders Comcast service termination citing contract terms of service violations and false advertising by the service provider, Comcast Incorporated.

Comcast has been promoting television, telephone and high speed internet services by means of cable transmission and Comcast officials admit the services have system-wide problems and failures yet Comcast continues television advertising of consumer and business class services as affordable and reliable.

MarSayHarrington Associates advises all consumers to use Verizon DSL or Charter cable services where available as Comcast admits it does not have the ability to sustain a reliable connection.

Comcast FAILS Connection Tests !!!

April 10, 2008 - Teams of engineers from Comcast and Verizon internet service providers ran tests to ring out the ominus "Lost Connection" many have which appears to be more ISP related than Kaneva server related.

Side by side, Verizon and Comcast had network monitoring at the main distribution frame along with network recording equipment at the offices of MarSayHarrington Associates from 7:00am to 10:00am this morning.

Using Kaneva as a traffic source, Comcast connections failed at least once every 15 minutes while Verizon connections held through the entire test period thus confirming suspicions that most "Lost Connections" were ISP related and not caused by Kaneva servers.

Comcast engineers were left scratching their heads and without answers as to why Verizon provides a solid sustainable connection while Comcast could not, even with their best services available.

Hit By Hackers

April 3, 2008 -  Hardware/Software firewalls included in ISP modems, routers and Windows itself prove ineffective as hackers punch through Internet security like it was swiss cheese this past December through February targeting members of Virtual Worlds including: VirtualWorldsConnect.com, ICQmail.com, Mail2World.com, AOL.com, Kaneva.com, Charter.net, and Verizon.net to name just a few.

Amongst the tell tail signs of vandalism was mass-mailings (spam) proliferating through members of VirtualWorldsConnect.com unabated resulting in the banning of the targeted members, not the hackers. Repeated communications to Christopher V. Sherman Executive Director - Virtual Worlds Management advising him of the circumstances surrounding the hackers activities, VirtualWorldsConnect.com took a very cold position in banning the victims of the hackers.

During the same time frame some Kaneva.com members were also hit with bizarre messages going to Kaneva Members and management. Kaneva however took a very different stand on the matter by working closely with it's valued members and resulted in a team effort of ISP's including Verizon, Comcast, Mail2World.com and MarSayHarrington Associates. The combined effort resulted in at least some of the hackers being caught.

It's very warm in Atlanta, Georgia, home of Kaneva but very harsh and cold at ShowInitiative.com, the founding element of VirtualWorldsConnect.com. Show Initiative.....?????? ......We'd like to see some..... some warmth would help also.....

These prestigious awards are presented to the funniest and most ridiculous stories published in the Virtual Reality worlds. This one is presented to Rob Waugh who published the funniest "writing on the rest-room stall" story we ever read in Linux Insider on 01/21/08



This is a classic case of bad journalism probably caused by no or poor scholastic training in the field and as presented to a person with experience on the subject matter, the story is more full of holes than "Swiss Cheese".

It is totally out of journalism professionalism to quote someone without asking "can I quote that" especially when the unannounced interview was conducted by a person not identified as a journalist in ones home.

Quoting Rob Waugh "My first host" seemed hostile, and his American footballer-esque avatar came over and said: "Who R U?"........ This is a social platform, of course we are going to ask who we are talking to..... "Hostile"......????????  Give us a break.............

Quoting Rob Waugh, "I'm still not quite getting Kaneva -- is there a point to it?",  he's absolutely correct, and not just Kaneva, he has no clue how to be a professional journalist or writer and no credibility.  Rob Waugh was talking to a Female yet quotes a Male.  He can't even get gender issue correct

I would tell Rob Waugh to go back to writing for his High School newspaper,  there's an awful lot he missed when he was there last.
