No Way Out

What do you say when opening your mouth is what got you in this mess in the first place?

What do you do when there's nothing you can do to heal his heart, except break another?

I tried to care, I tried so hard to give you something to believe in. But it's done no good.

I've only broken another dream.

I want to stop your tears, but I just can't bring myself to say another word,

Search for the right things to say, get them prepared they all slip away when I start to type them.

I never lied, I never said things would be perfect.

Why'd you have to go and make this so difficult?

I cared, I still do but not half as much as I used to.

The Game of who loves who

I want to believe in everything you say.

I want to see the upperside of things.

But this heart is breaking.

I'm sitting here crying,

yet again over some guy that wasn't who I thought he was.

No he never did understand.

I want to hug you,

but the pain it drives through me everytime I think of you,

makes it almost impossible to move.

I want to forgive you, but I just can't understand why you,

yeah why you won't tell me the truth.

Second guessing my reasons,

Trying to grasp some form of stability.

Holding onto my heart cuz it hurts so badly.

False Truth's and Sincere Pains

Smile so they all think I'm doing fine.
I don't wait in line,
I'm always in a rush to get something done.
I wait for the chance to break through,
but the stares and smirks are getting painful.
But who cares?
I won't sit and wine,
I'll just flash them one of those shut eyed smiles.
Plastic faces everywhere but I don't mind sticking out,
now that's a lie.
You say don't listen to what they have to say.
But how am I supposto ignore what I hear everyday?
Two sided stories and different versions of the same thing,
This is getting old.
Just face up to who we are.
We'll never blend in,
we'll always be the hyper crazy kids,
the underdogs who made everything a mess.
But we'll put on one of those masks and pretend we dont' see anyone.
You sit on your shallow throne but I hope you know,
I'll be the one who makes it known.
'Cause we are stronger than you think,
and we will never change.
We don't need your lies around here.
No your big eyes can't do any damage here.

The Missing Hearts

I feel so alone, but I'm not coming back 'cause I remember you're the one that made me feel this way.
I haven't forgotten why I left,
you say I'm over reacting but the truth is so far from that.
I tried to forgive and I bent for you, but now I'm fed up.
Yeah my mind's made up and I've finally had enough of this situation you call a relationship.
I don't really care how this'll make you feel cause I've bled this broken heart 'til it was white and I bit my tongue even when I wanted to scream. But now you've lost everything.
You can just forget all the plans we made,
cause I'm doing things my way.
No longer will your voice or face linger here.

Asked me to forgive but I just can't forget.

Barriers and Broken Hearts

Walking on this straight and narrow path.
Was the first one to catch your heart with a glance, the first to make you cry.
Didn't want to be the one who set you're eyes on fire but I saw the flame burning so steadily in your eyes every time they met mine.
This isn't me, it's just what I've become.
Fluffy clouds named after all our favorite songs turn grey.
It's almost time for the rain.
Holding my breath for the sake of wasting time we don’t' have.
Who knew I'd end up hurting the very person I loved?
I smile as I walk by but you turn away cos you know what I want to say.
Bite your lip to keep from saying what I already know you're feeling.
We say love but wonder why we don't just turn and leave all this behind for someone else to finish.
The classic tale of once so clearly love, now so hard to see.
Thought we'd make it through but hey even the best fall apart sometimes.
Used to say love, it’s so great to be by your side.
Now what can I say?
It's a different story.
Barriers and Broken Hearts, we've changed evererything for the worst.
I put more and more barriers up, and you're heart breaks a little more each time.
