Update

Well not too much is going on. Things are now back to normal. I am getting my son ready for his first year of school.no more pre k,is thereal K now...lol Doing alot of experimental cooking lately... Been trying my hand at slow roasting things like chicken or roasts. I love to cook, but need more reasons to work on my presentation tho.

The crisis has past

Well now that the crises has past I can talk more about why I was so stressed. Last week my husband and I were adivesed that a hit was put out on my husbands life by a inmate that he arrested. We have been waiting to hear if the threat was valid and if a hit truely was placed. Well luckly the threat was false, and no hit was placed. I lost so much sleep. Not over the thought of loosing my husband, I have full confidence in his ablitity to do his job and protect himself. I was worried if I would be capable of defending our home and son if somone came here. Lets just say I had been keeping my 9mm with me at all times, and a loaded shotgun in the house. I will be training with my gun on a weekly basis so that I am fully comfortable with it and my reflexes are much better. My husband is going to train me on grappling self defense.

Stresses of a wife

Sometimes I hate being the wife of a cop. We are dealing with a threat against his life. I don't like worrying, I don't like looking over my shoulder. I certainly don't like keeping a shotgun by my bed and a pistol in my headboard. Sigh.....But this is the life we have both choosen and I will stand by him.
