Blogs are an interesting advent in communication. If I want to talk to someone specifically, I will call or IM them, if I want to tell someone something, I can email them, but blogs are for something else. Blogs tend to be representative of stories you would normally tell over and over again because its funny/sad/interesting. Now rather then talking about an event specifically with my friends, generally before giving the details, the person in question will ask "did you see my blog post?."
