Feb 21, 2008 REFLECTIONS OF CHURCH OF CHRIST MEETING Dear brothers and sisters, it is my pleasure to reflect on the evening we shared together with the Lord. We were blessed with His presence as we met in the lovely worship space of the Church of Christ. We enjoyed meeting old friends and new, as well as visitors, in the entrance and foyer, all skillfully created by its owner, lexluthorswife. Praise music filled the air, the fireplace flickered a warm glow, a comfortable seating area beckoned to be enjoyed, and a vintage episode of I Love Jesus appeared to play on the television set. Images of herald angels with trumpets encircled the perimeter of the room. No detail was spared to make the visitor's very first glance convey to them that they had just arrived in a place set apart for God's glory. We next made our way through the arched portals and down the hallway. Again, we were treated to more beautiful images that inspire the heart. We gathered under heavenly skies of the patio, an area adorned with plants, fountains, and lily ponds. We opened in prayer and had a brief business meeting. More visitors entered at this time and were encouraged to stay. Next, we left the doorways of the patio to enter the main sanctuary. The draped Cross, the baptistry, the sacred art, the stained glass, the robed choir, and the grand piano all added to the atmosphere of sanctification. After the group was seated, lexluthorswife shared with us her personal testimony. She told of family struggles, hopelessness, near suicide, then the turning point where Jesus changed everything! Thanks to the persistence of a few good Christians, she chose to receive the gift of new life that God offered. She professed her faith in the Lord Jesus, was baptized, and began to live her life for the love of God and His Word. After hearing her moving story, many people responded to surrender their lives more fully to Christ. Several visitors received Jesus as Lord for the very first time. We continued in prayer, then began to rejoice in the Lord with dance and song. Some continued to repent or minister to others while the crowd prayed and worshipped. The sweetness in the atmosphere made it pleasant just to linger there, letting the Spirit flow. Many continued to freely share sponataneous song, prayer, and scripture in a spirit of unity. God is truly with us, faithfully honoring us weekly with His sweet presence that heals and transforms us, from glory to glory, into the image of His Son. Love Always, lol_mom

If you died today,are you 100% sure of Heaven?

Dear Friend,i would like to ask you the most important question of your life.where will you spend eternity?the following Bible verses clearly teach how simple salvation is.

Four things you must know
1.All have sinned.

Isaiah 53:6- all we like sheep have gone astray
Romans 3:10- none righteous,no not one
Romans 3:23-For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

2.All will die.

Ezekiel 3:20-he shall die in his sin.
Romans 6:23-the wages of sin is death.
Hebrews 9:27-it is appointed unto men once to die,but after this the judgement.
James 1:15-sin,when it is finished,bringeth forth death.

3.The second death.

Revelations 20:14,15-death and hell were cat into the lake of fire.thisthis is the second death.and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Psalms 9:17-the wicked shall be turned into hell.
Matthew 10:28-fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 23:33-how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Mark 9:44-the fire is not quenched.
Mark 9:47-hell fire
Luke 16:24-i am tormented in this flame.
Luke 16:28-place of torment.
2Peter 2:4-cast them down to hell,and delivered them into chains of darkness,to be reserved for judgement.
Revelation 21:8-and all liars,shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death.

4.Jesus died for your sin.

Romans 5:8-Christ died for us.
2 Corinthians 5:21-he made him to be sin for us,who knew no sin.
1.Peter 2:24-who his own self bare our sins in his own body.
Isaiah 53:5,6-he was wounded for our transgressions,he was bruised for our iniquities...the LORD hath laid on him theiniquity of us all.
Romans 6:23-the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord.
John 14:6-Jesus saith unto him,i i am the way,the truth, and the life.no man cometh unto unto the father,but by me.
Romans 10:9,10,13-That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,thou shalt be saved.
Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 6:37-him that cometh to me i will in no wise cast out.
Ephesians 2:8,9- for by grace are ye saved through faith;and that not of yourselves;it is the gift of God not of works,lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5-not by works of richeousness which we have done,but according to his mercy he saved us.

1 John 5:13-These things have i written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;that ye may know that all come to repentence.

John 5:24-He that heareth my word,and believeth on him that sent me,hath everlasting life,and shall not come into condemnation;but is passed from death unto life.

Dear Friend,God loves you,he sent his son to die for your sins.Church,baptism,confirmation,sacrements,good works,or the rosary cannot pay for your sins.Only Jesus can save you.if you realize you are a sinner,eternally lost,then simply pray,believing in your heart:

''Dear God,i know i am a sinner,deserving death and hell to pay for my sins.Dear Jesus,please forgive me of my sin,come into my heart,and save my soul i am trusting only you for my salvation.thank you for saving my soul.Amen".
