About Me

So. You have stumbled onto this page, which I claim as my own. What brings you here to the darkest parts of the nightmarish Dreamland? Is it because you wish to know me, or about me?

First and foremost, I am a huge bibliophile. Nothing in the world is more precious to me than the false world I have created in my mind for security and serenity.

Second, I am desperately in love with classical art and music. The world of years past has many qualities of style that cannot be replicated in this modern era.

Third, I adore felines of all kinds. The more, the merrier. I have a small kitten of my own. She is a fuzzball of black fur, but has one spot in between her eyes in the color of (as my friends call it) "dark amber".

This poem reminded me of myself and the pain I suffer from since the start of the year. 

These crimson tears of mine 
Do nothing to ease my battered soul. 
It seems my pain and suffering 
Has finally taken its toll. 

It looked so good on paper, 
My picture perfect life. 
Now I slowly put down my pencil, 
And even slower retrieve my knife. 

I can make the story better, 
I tell myself more lies. 
I'll bleed a little deeper, 
I'll bleed until I die. 

I'll carve my tale of sorrow, 
I'll carve my tale of woe. 
I'll carve until I see the bone, 
I've never gone so low. 

I'll do it even slower, 
I'll go so very deep 
Till even you can't save me 
And I'll have eternal sleep.
