So sick

Ughhhh I've been so sick lately. I hate being sick! Especially this time of year. I should be out Christmas shopping and driving around with the kids looking at lights, but no, I'm stuck here being sick. I can't even drink hot cocoa because it stings my throat.

Sorry for the rant, I just had to vent a little. I hope everyone else managed to avoid getting sick. Jay didn't get sick

but he did take a few days off work to take care of us.

First day

Ok so I'm new to this site, my favorite niece Leigh and I signed up for this last night while we were finding something to do. I'm at my mother-in-law's and she has...DIALUP... ack, so as soon as I get home tomorrow to my wonderful broadban connection I will make my page prettier and work my way to the virtual world.... That aside...

I hope everyone who reads this had a great Thanksgiving! If you don't celebrate it I hope you had a great weekend anyway lol. I love any excuse to get together with family and friends where you can show up and they don't automaticly assume that you want something from them lol. Hey and Christmas is right around the corner...

I have a love hate relationship with Christmas though, I love spending time and celebrating but I hate trying to buy the perfect gift and worring about wether THEY will like it or not. I love shopping and buying people stuff though but at Christmas time people expect to get that someting extra special any more. I think it misses the point. But when you do get that something that THEY have always wanted and you see their eyes light up it just makes it all worth while.

I'm not good at these things...Bloging and such.
