Hey all! Someone noted that there was a font issue to the Lost Legacy
game, and a few minor bugs were pointed out as well. I repackaged the
game in case you haven't downloaded it yet, as well as uploaded a
small patch to fix those errors. Finally, the Font Patch is included
in the zip file. While it has to be run regardless, it's in the right
place and ready to be used.

Lost Legacy available for FREE Download!

Well, I finally was able to settle on to free upload/download services that I feel make distributing Lost Legacy MUCH easier. It is my pleasure to paste these links so that anyone who wants to see my first video game can go, download, and play:

Great Holiday...and my Chatbox!

Hello everyone!

Got a few minor updates, and just a few minutes to jot them down:

1)Had a great Holiday Season with family and friends. Christmas was very subdued and was spent alone with my wife. One of the best Christmas's I've ever had.

2)Sending out copies of my first video game, Lost Legacy. Already getting great feedback.

3)Working on setting up a version of Lost Legacy that doesn't use Voice Files (so I can keep it at about 100 MB), so I can make available to everyone here.

4)Getting ready for my last year of school!

Anyway, about my Chatbox. Apparently, it logs me in even when I'm not there, which is annoying. So if you want to chat with me and I'm not there (I think my icon in the upper right box willbe green if I am active), please PM me and if I can, I'll get on and chat with you!

Happy holidays and more

Hello all!

Well, it's been a good and fun Christmas for me. I spent it alone with my wife, snuggling and watching movies, listening to music, and playing games. Sometimes the best memories of all are the ones that are made with just one other person.

I'm currently only sending the game out via CD, mostly because of the 300 mb of Voice Acting files in it. However, as soon as I can get a less sized version created without voice files, I'll release a non-voice version of the game and upload it here. It should be SIGNIGICANTLY smaller then....

School's out!

Okay!

School is out for the rest of the year and I made it by with a 3.8 GPA, which puts me on the Dean's List!!

It was a rough semester, but I feel great, especially since I scored a 98 on my 3D modelling class! I can now say that I know my stuff, be it in Max or Maya.

Anyway, I have uploaded one of the roughs of my final project, a remake of Kit-Rae's Luciendar Sword. With a game being released later this week, i'm gonna be a tad busy, but I'll be uploading content and gettign involved here soon enough!

Not dead yet!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a line saying that I'm NOT dead! It's been a very grueling semester for me and I've been neck-deep in learning Maya, a 3D modeling program. If you don't know what Maya or Max is, then you won't understand when I say that my ten years of experience with Max has made me feel like a real newbie in working with Maya.

So, anyway, that's why I've been gone since I became active ehre. The good news is that I'm going to get more active after the 10th of Deecember, when my school is out for the rest of the year. I hope to upload some of my content at that time...to show off what I can do.

A side note to everyone who has been commenting and raving me: Thank you very much for the compliments. I will try and rave/comment on everyone's channel as soon as school lets out. Promise!

And to the guys making the Virtual World of Kaneva, I hope I get to contribute content to your world. it looks awesome and I'm itching to help develope for it!

First Post - Quick Hello

Well, it's my first blog and I have to say that I'm pretty excited about being a part of this community. It'll probably take me a while to get into the spirit of things, since I've never been a part of anything like this before.

I'm currently at work, taking a fiver from a 'fun' project with the Unreal Engine. Excitedly enough, due to a lack of actors in this game, I got to put my face on one of the models! (Picture is in my photos section). I've always wanted to be in a video game...it's funny how things just work out sometimes.

Anyway, I'm still learning what Kaneva is truly about, so anyone who can offer any advice to this hapless newbie, I'd be so appreciative! Oh! And on a side note...I turned 30 yesterday!

Well, back to work for now. Keep it real, everyone!
