BUFFY SEASON 8 COMIC IS FINALLY OUT!!

Can you see my head exploding? Can you?!

DEAR LORD, that was the longest waiting EVER for a new season, but I can guarantee you: damn, it was worth it!!!! I just got my hands on the comic book and it's so fraking perfect!

There's something about the Jossverse that just seems right when you get to it, like that's how it's supposed to be and they should have never left us. That's why I was hugging my screen [I really was] a thousand times while reading the first Season 8 issue. It's funny, smart, kick-butt, angsty... everything Buffy! My dearest Scooby Gang is back and [man!] how I missed them!

The only thing I could complain about it [if there's room for that] is the absence of Will up until now. She's my favorite character from the Jossverse and I think I might have a seizure when she debuts on the comic book. The art looks great, too. All of them look really similar to the living characters which helps a lot when it comes to the immersion. I can actually hear them speaking while reading!

I also loved the news about how well the comic book is doing in terms of selling. The first print of 100 thousand copies sold out in just TWO DAYS!! How great is that? Just a little sign that after ten years of glory we are still here and still faithful to the best series ever.

And as a really good Buffy fan I, of course, had to share it with you guys who still didn't get the chance to drool over the book. I uploaded the scans right above. Enjoy!

NEW BSG COMMUNITY

It's me again.

Stopping by real quick to let you now I've just created the first and only Battlestar Galactica community on Kaneva.

I hope I can find some BSG fans around here too. If you never watched the show before... well, you're a loser. BSG is amazing and everyone should get a chance to fall in love with it. The show is [by far] the only worth-watching hour on Sci-fi Channel and the best on sci-fi/drama you can get around what's airing today, so give yourself a chance and hunt the miniseries down. Watch it. It's impossible not to like.

I HEART FALL OUT BOY

Just got the FOB's new cd and as expected it's great!

I just love this band.

Patrick's tone of voice, Andy's sexy glasses, Pete's attitude and even Joe's lack of one... This "Infinity On High" cd is awesome so I'll take the chance to share a vid that makes me roll on the floor laughing everytime I watch it. It's a parody of "Sugar We're Going Down", about how the song makes no sense. It's just right above. A lot of people complain about the lack of meaning on FOB's music but most of the times they just didn't stop to try and figure it out. Most of the songs are amazing. From the new cd I really like "Golden". It's a side of the band I hadn't seeing yet. Loved it.

What? Oh, yeah... "Sugar We're Going Down" still doesn't say crap, but stop bitching and watch the vid. ;P

Hey, y'all...

I'm a virgin on this thing so you guys are gonna have to bare with me for now. Quick intro: My name is Luciana, I'm from Brazil and I'm 19 yrs old. My english is not that bad, but is not that good either so just pretend you don't notice some mistakes here and there.
