Chocolate < Back
Mar-13-07 08:31 PM  kmre68   tags: chocolate Florida
I tried to make chocolate molds yesterday, and it is not as easy as it looks.  I was warm, in Florida and the molds melted fast.  Many of them,  also broke in 1/2.  I guess I need to stick with chocolate milk, or hot cocoa.  I think I will try again later this week when the weather cools off.  I know what a problem to have, warm weather this time or year.  I guess that is why everyone wants to spring break in Florida.
Anyone have any ideas or tips on chocolate molds, I could really use it.
Thanks for reading,
Kathy

chocolate has to be at a certain temp for it to set and cure properly.. if it doesn't it either leaves runs or cracks/breaks easily... you might wanna get a temp gauge for cooking and look up online what temp chocolate should be at for molding...
