Well, here we go. The Otaku Invitational contest over on the Hardcore Anime channel has finished the entry phase. I must admit that this is one of the best ideas that I've seen in the way of getting people to sign up for stuff. Second only, maybe, to the free iPod giveaways that are out there.
Anyway, the Otaku Invitational is a contest produced by Central Park Media (an anime production company), and Kaneva, or more specifically, GTOtaku over on the Hardcore Anime channel. The idea is that you sign up for a kaneva account and produce a trailer for one of Central Park Media's upcoming releases. Then everyone logs on and votes for their favorite trailer. The team that gets the most votes wins one of every title that Central Park Media produces (and that's a lot of DVDs, let me tell you) and their trailer gets used as the official trailer.
As you've probably already guessed, my fellow studio members and I were not kaneva members before the start of the contest, but then again, I figure that is why the contest was dreamed up. I can't speak for the rest of the team, but I'm hooked. I'll be fixing up my personal page later when I have a little time.
Well, gotta go. I have to round up a bunch of people to vote for our video.

I hope that if you're reading this, you'll take a moment to head over to the Otaku Invitational and vote for our trailer. My fellow team members and I would really appreciate it.
