- Inspired more than 600 singers/performers from all over the world to drop their Sound
- Tallied more than 1,600 song uploads
- Counted over 12,000 votes
And you've now selected ten finalists who will go head-to-head during our live Sound Off event on November 8. Now keep in mind, the Sound Off is a closed door affair -- but we will be video taping the singer showdown, along with reaction by the crowd and our celebrity judges. This contest was a wonderful experience for me. It really made me see if I wanted to do this music thing or not. Though I did not place in the top 10 I beleive I would have if it was based on talent(no disrespect to the top ten). I was thinking it was going to be judged on how good the songs were, instead it was who could get the most votes. Who's to say everyone cheated but more than have of the top 10 cheated-because you don't hop 300 votes up in a day. I mean my votes were taken because all my people were voting at schools and the library-but its cool its only a matter of time before I'm discovered anyway. But thanks for the oppurtunity and if its not too much could you present another one but based on talentthis time

I know the contest is over, but I ask that the judges and everyone else on the site to listen to Sweetz Marzette. Someone needs to discover this girl. If there is producer out there with some heat, git with her. Contact us. There isnt enough female MC's out there right now, and she definately has the lrycal content to make it happen. Congratulations to the winners. Job well done. Stay focused on ya path cause it is far from over Mile A Minute is still hungry. Matter fact Im starving so dont go gettin that footlong sub from Sub Way an get full cause Im a have ta clean plates. And I aint talkin bout being no bus boy. Followed this once closely. Quite a scramble at the last few hours but the Top 10 are in place. Let's lose the souir grapes and move on to the souind off where the judges will have the final say. First of all, I would like to say Congratulations to the top 10. As far as all the "cheating" talk, the true talents will come out live and that is what the judges are for. Yes, I do feel that some of the competition missed out because of the voting process, however, I do feel that some great talent was found as well. I helped get votes and worked very hard with a great group of people to get one artist to his position in the top ten and I'm very proud that finally his talents, perservance and faith have gotten him this far. Thank you for the opportunities and hopefully there will be many more to come.

I totally agree that there had to be some major cheating going on. I'm Myriams dad and I know what hard work me and my wife and our six kids did to get our votes. It was hard and before we knew that we couldn't have listening parties to get votes we did have what would be considered bad votes. That got corrected and we understood. But with hard work and the support of those who had already voted but had their vote taken away she showed that even with the cheating she was the one destined to be number one.

It's amazing how so many people hit the top 10 over night. Doesn't make any since to me. Only 4 people out of the finalist have been holding it down for at least a week....

Whats up! I Feel that the people in the top ten spot have some good songs but its messed up if they cheated. i was out here grindin passing out fliers and doing everything i could i just hope they wasnt cheating. I think the fair thing would be to check everyone votes and see who cheated again. and this is bumpman

Half of the top 10 is whack...and I think it's funny that a good 80% of them where NO WHERE NEAR the top 10 until last night, and most of them were ones who got caught cheating once already....I hope this is looked into before the sing off. If not, good luck and bring some ear plugs!
